I've been recording with FRAPS for a while (this is for youtube). I record gaming and such. When I record games like Minecraft it records perfectly, full screen no black bars. But when I record steam games, it leaves black bars on the sides, with each game. They all go Full Screen which I think has something to do with it. I have games like Fallout 1, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Portal 2, Team Fortress 2, and I just recently got Modern Warfare 2. I tried recording MW2 but the video was square so it left black bars. In full screen the game takes up the entire screen so I would think it should record it that way. But it shrinks it into a square. My FRAPS movie settings are 30 FPS, Half Screen,Loop Buffer Length 30 seconds. Any help would be greatly appretiated! :)

I have been trying to find a good pc screen recorder for about a week and I can't find one that fits my needs and skills. I want it to be free, fast, and good quality. Problems that I have had with past ones are that it distorts the colors on the screen while recording, or I can't save the file as a WMV file, or even it is just such a complex program that I can't figure it out. I have tried a few popular ones like CamStudio but that distorted the colors. I have no money to buy a nice one so I'm looking for the best free one. Any suggestions would be much appretiated. Also, I am using this to record gaming for youtube, so HD would be very helpful.

I'm going to make a montage of some call of duty clips I got so I put up a test video first to make sure the settings are right first. The video should be 720 quality but it will only go 720. Even though the clips were recorded at 720. Also the video doesn't fill up the full screen. Other then that it's fine. Is there a way to fix either one. Here's the video...

At my park there is this device the hangs off the side of the playground. It has three support bars connecting it to a circle you can hang from. It can spin on a hinge towards the top of it. None of my friends can figure out how to use it or what is called. We just hang and try to spin but it is tough to touch the ground.

I only need the professor portal trophy. But in order to do so, i must play calibration with a friend who has never played online co-op before. Any help? If you have played you could make a new psn. It would be appretiates. Post psn here if u do so. And i will make you get best answer.

Lately I've been noticing that I don't know what to say when I'm around people who aren't friends. I usually end up saying stuff like "how is it going?" or "hello" thats about it. Those conversations usually die fast. Is there any good ways to start a good conversation without knowing a person too well? Thanks

I was at Magic Mountain and rode X2. It was fun. I rode again and it hurt a bit because it shook more than last time, or at least thats how it felt. I looked at the website and it said something about there being light changes with each ride through. Does anybody know about these changes?

I wanna buy Castle Crashers for PS3, but from the looks of it you need at least 2 people to play. Can you play it solo?

So I'm playing Fallout: New Vegas. I just finished The House Always Wins I, the quest. I talk Mr.House, he tells me for the next part I need to go to ceasar's legion using and invite I will or already have recieved. The problem is I have gone there and pissed of ceasar, and I know it because at random times legion assassin's show up and try to kill me. The problem is I can't have the quest added. Every speech option is something about how I've been there and he hates me. And then the talk ends. How do I get the quest added to me pip boy? Thanks! If it works I will choose the best answer!

I'm a 14 year old male with really bad allergies. I had my allergies tested a few years ago and I'm alergic to everything in nature. No food or animals. So I'm allergic to all types of trees, grass, soil, leaves, dust, pollin, etc. when allergies hit me is sucks. I cant stop sneezing and my eyes water up. Also when i see sun it makes me have to sneeze. I take 2 medicines, a pill and a nose spray. The pill doesnt seem to help, and the spray sometimes make me have to sneeze more. My main goal is to not have allergies, but are there any ways to effectively stop them. It's really emberassing around friends sneezing and stuff. And tips and ideas would be helpful. Thanks!!!

Over the past month I have noticed my internet got slower. And then in the last 5 days the internet will either be slow as usual, which is rare. Or it will completely stop working, which happens in long periods of time and often. So on my playstation it isnt as bad, but it is still slower. On my computer it stops working a lot and i have to restart the router. It's also slower too. I have cleared junk files an defragmented and it remains slow. My iPod is the worst. My internet doesn't work on it for about 15 hours of the day, which is the majority. And if i restart the router it works for like 25 seconds then it stops again. Is there anything I can/should do to find out whats wrong or fix it? Or at least stop it from not working. I'd be alright if it was still slow. I just need it to work. Thanks

In most war games I like to be stealthy, and snipe. The problem is on Battlefield 3, the snipers I have are all 2 to 3 shot kills unless you get a headshot. So are there any snipers that most of the time are one shot kills? If so how do I unlock them? Thanks. I will choose best answer. :)

I'm trying to get more into quickscoping on MW3, I do it a lot on MW2, but less people are playing it, and lots of it is hacked. I would like to quickscope more on MW3 but all the assault rifle's and such are quick kills you so must catch people off guard, and on search, others rarely use snipers. I don't have a bunch of friends to play with, because they cant even hit a shot if I stand still.

I would appretiate tips such as what game mode I should play, what class I should run to help me stand a chance, and stuff like that thanks.

Some games have an online pass where you cant play a pre owned copy unless you but a new pass. Does mass effect 3 have that? If you dont know what i mean its like the multiplayer pass from battlefield 3

Im making a montage and i need a dubstep song with a good drop. I like songs with a woman singing, then it drops. For example the silence dubstep by mt.eden. And mr.postman dubstep. I saw those in montages and liked them, but i dont wanna copy any advice? No over-used songs, like scary monsters, ghosts n stuff, etc. Thanks

I have a ps3 so we should be getting a new map pack in a month becausw xbox just got it. I heard rumours that if you have elite you dont have to buy the map packs, and you can download them once released on your system. Is this true?
