?

I want to buy a TV but I only want it for DVDs and games which you don't have to buy a TV license for, but I can't find a cheap TV anywhere that doesn't come with freeview. So if a TV comes with freeview do you have to pay for a license even if you never use it?

I've already emailed the TV license people to ask, I was just asking now to see if anyone else knows so I can get an answer sooner. :)

It fell on the floor yesterday (I feel bad admitting I even let that happen), it was only a short drop but the part where the memory card is kept came open and now it won't close. I have to hold a finger over it to put games on and save. I don't know what it's meant to look like but it doesn't look like there's been any damage and I thought that part was meant to open anyway so I wouldn't have thought it would be that bad and everything else works perfectly. Could there be something wrong on the inside? Any ideas on how to get it to stay closed/how to fix it?

I have Asperger's Syndrome, which among other things can sometimes make me very nervous and awkward in some social situations. I was diagnosed with it later than most people are and for the most part I've been doing a self therapy to get over it which for the most part has worked except there are still certain situations that have the same effect and it does occassionally get in the way of me doing things I have to or really want to do. I've been thinking about going to a doctor and seeing if I can be put on anxiety medication for a while now and am finally going to make an appointment, but I have one problem. I'm a writer and I've been told that medication for similar problems can affect a person's creativity. I don't want to do something like this if it's going to affect my writing, so I was wondering if anyone knows if it would affect my creativity?

For a few things I have coming up I'm going to be cosplaying as Zexion from Kingdom Hearts. The only problem is I don't know what to do with my hair.I'm used to cosplaying with long hair wigs so I didn't have to worry about this before since the wig always hid my real hair anyway.

So my real hair goes just past my shoulders and I have a hair net to put it in but it still shows through the wig, so what would be the best way to put it up so that it doesn't show?

I've been waiting to see it for ages but I moved into university accommodation last week and we only have freeview so we don't have that channel and I don't want to wait months to see it.

I have the base game and all 3 expansions on my computer and up until now it's worked fine.

I haven't played it in a couple of weeks and it normally updates itself. It's just finished doing that today and I tried to put the game on but it keeps coming up with a message that says:

'Your Sims 3 base game is incompatible with the current expansion pack. Please update your game via the game launcher'

But the game launcher doesn't have any new updates available and I have the latest expansion pack disk in there so what's going on?

Are there any websites that give detailed information on professional special effects make up and costume in horror movies?

I need to do research on both for my media class.

My friend said that there was something in the application that you have to click to say you're not going to uni until a year later but I can't find it and I have to send this out today...

I really want to donate blood but I've never done it before and I'm nervous about going for the first time especially since I'm a bit scared of needles, so I was wondering if they would let my mum come with me the first time I go?

So I used to have a windows vista computer and I would go into the all programs section and find my webcam listed (it's built in). Last time it broke down the guy fixed it and upgraded it to windows 7. Since the 'upgrade' I can't find the camera anywhere unless for example it's on chat and using the webcam option there. And now it's really important to find since my regular camera isn't working...

I'm writing a love story for a friend and the basis of the story is that there is a word for each letter of the alphabet and one of the characters uses each word to describe their feelings for their partner and to talk about major points in their relationship.

I have a word for each letter except x because it's so hard to find words for. So if anyone could suggest one that would be great. It can be in another language, it could be positive or negative, as long as it can be related to a relationship. In fact even it doesn't easily relate to relationships I can make it unless the meaning isn't anything too complex, like if it's an everyday sort of term it would be fine.

Where you can take it out for a while and it won't close up.

I've had mine since January. I don't want to take it out for too long at the moment, just an hour or two, is it safe yet or does it need more time?

The skin under my breasts is slightly red and feels slightly weird like it would if you had a rash, so I'm assuming that's what it is. I think it might be due to the hot weather since I've been sweating so much and my bra obviously gets in the way of it escaping, though I can't be sure. Not wearing a bra isn't an option, not when I go out at least. So does anyone have any ideas how I can get rid of it?

I know this sounds weird but I noticed it earlier and was wondering.

See I have two cats and one of them occasionally does this thing where if he rubs his ear or something it flips back almost as if it's inside out. It's also really easy to just flip his ear back in the same way.

If you don't know what I mean because my explanation is bad I managed to find an image on google showing what I'm talking about:

But earlier on I realised that never seems to happen to my other cat and I can't actually do that to his ear. I was wondering why it was different.

I'm assuming it has to do with his ear having maybe more bone or cartilage or just thicker skin but I don't know for sure and I was just kinda curious about whether anyone knows for sure why it is?

Also I'm assuming the difference in ears, whether they do that or not, is inherited in genetics, would I be right in assuming so? Sorry, I'm just interested in this stuff lol.

I need to know about some rare diseases that are deadly and visible (possibly disfiguring). If you name any particularly bad ones, with a short description if possible.

The two I have at the moment are Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressive (the genetic disease that turns muscles to bone) and Necrotizing Fasciitis (the 'flesh eating' disease) so if you know of any like these let me know.

If you're wondering why, I'm trying to do research on medical problems for a book I'm writing. It's going to include a variety of short horror stories. I'm trying to write stories that are more realistic, involving real problems and I know this one is slightly less realistic but one of my ideas is for a medical scientist who develops a way to infect people with these diseases. I know some of them are genetic which is why it's less realistic but this possibly touches on science fiction so it isn't so bad. I just need to know about some bad physical diseases people can be affected by.

What would be the religious opinion of him?

I'm just addicted to the film and you know how that Christian lady keeps saying he's evil and a perversion of nature so I just wondered if this would be the true general view, for Christians and other religions?

I can see what she means in a sense that the guy who made Edward was trying to play god or something by creating him but Edward couldn't exactly control the way he was born and generally he's a really good person so... yeah?

I mean, ignoring the fact that he killed Jim because, let's face it, that wasn't completely his fault and I just can't blame him for that. So killing aside, what would be the religious opinion of Edward Scissorhands?

I just thought of this question a couple of nights ago and now I really want to know.

But because humans can also smoke it and stuff I was wondering if you have to be a certain age to buy it.

I remember finding out about this when I was typing random stuff into google so I can't remember what it was called.

Basically there was this thing in Russia, there are doubts as to whether it's real or still exists but apparently it's real but I'm not sure...

Anyway there's this thing underground in Russia, I can't remember completely how it was explained. But the purpose is that these people go there and if there's some kind of nuclear war or something and the leaders of Russia are killed then these people make the decision whether or not to activate this thing which basically sends out these missiles all over the world capable of causing really bad damage.

I think it was invented during the cold war or something but I'm not completely sure.

It just interested me when I read about it so I'd love to remember what it was called and some other stuff about it.

When I uploaded my first video it took about an hour but it was only about a minute long.

Now I'm doing one that's nearly 10 minutes long. I tried to put it up a while ago but it took so long I began to worry it wasn't working.

So here are my questions:

It says it's uploaded but processing, how long should that take?

Does it depend on length (9:51) or size (173k)?

Can I do other stuff on my computer while it processes? Will it take longer or stop working?

And basically any advice you can give on uploading...
