I am a writer looking to implement accurate and current gang activity in my work of fiction. I know that many writers will make up gangs in place of real ones, but I believe my work will have more impact if I use real examples of gangs and people in a fictional sense. The work will portray them in a less than ideal light. I know that in the past films such as Goodfellas and shows such as South Park have looked at organized crime before, but I plan my writing to portray them in a possibly more controversial light. Has any writer or artist of any kind (minus rappers) ever been killed or attacked for an accurate and negative portrayal of gangs and crime organizations?

I m at my wits end. I cannot use my computer for any longer than 3-15 minutes unless I disable all of my audio devices first. It will just freeze or crash my computer otherwise. Realtek is too lazy to do a thing about their dated, glitchy, unstable drivers, so I m wondering if there is an alternative to them, an alternative that actually works. Otherwise, I need some sort of fix because I cannot find any using Google. Please.

I recently took on the task of replacing my motherboard, processor and computer case, going from an integrated AMD motherboard to an I7 processor and Gigabyte motherboard. Because my original case was too small, I bought a new case and moved everything over, hooking up everything I could in the process. While the BIOS work and most initial things seem fine, I cannot start Windows at all. I continuously get this error message telling me to repair my computer using my Windows 7 Instillation Disc. The problem is that my PC never came with one, and a Windows 7 Disc can be expensive. If anyone knows a simpler way to fix this problem, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's really quite annoying: It gives me the option to use YouTube as either my channel or my google+ account. I always choose my channel and will never choose the Google+ account.

The only reason my Google+ is linked to there was because I was forced to in order to change my channel name.

Is there anyway to get rid of this option every time I sign in?

So, a little background: I bought a Turtle Beach Headset, a Surround Sound Processor, and a USB 7.1 Dolby Emulator. Everything with all of this seems fine and functional, with one exception...

The USB 7.1 External Sound Card flips my audio channels. Sounds that should come out of the left ear come out of the right, and vice versa. Because I bought this online, I don't really have too many options for returning or exchanging it, as the process is incredibly long.

My hope was to find a simple fix to the problem: Is there a way to flip the audio channels? There must be some program or driver or dll. file that can accomplish this universally for all sound sources on the system. It would certainly save time from returning the device, and it would fix the problem completely.

Unfortunately, I have not found any fix like this. Does such a program, device, driver, dll. etc. exist? It would certainly help a TON if there did. Thanks.

A little while back, about 5 days ago, I dropped my samsung R580, and it crashed. It is a laptop.

Only thing I haven't tried is installing ubuntu, and I expect to yeild the same result.

Nothing seems knocked out of place, and I opened and took apart and rebuilt the computer.

What is wrong with it? I really don't want to buy another computer.

Alright, so, here's a little backstory: I am trying to use Serious Sam HD 1 and 2 to make a fan trailer advertising the two games. I am using demo playback and FRAPS. The demo playback allows you to play a game in with any graphics setting you like, and then play it back with completely different settings if you please. So that is what I am trying to do: Play in Low, the Record in Ultra High. When I am viewing the recording, it plays back at around 0.5-3 FPS. Because of this, when I edit it in Sony Vegas to play 60 times as fast (to get 60FPS at the times it records 1 FPS), it sometimes goes slightly faster and slightly slower in certain places.

I have seen videos in Crysis where a similar problem was encountered, and the guy was able to fix it (Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YG5qDeWHNmk), but didn't explain how he got it constant. Can someone please tell me how i'd do this in Serious Sam HD 1 and 2? It will be much appreciated.

Okay, so the story is, my OS is broken in my old Laptop.

I wanted to give it to a friend, so I attempted to fix it.

Well, I was finally able to get to the option that lets you run in Safe Mode. So, I clicked that option, and a big command line comes up.

Its frozen, and obviously glitched. It kept flashing "Press Escape to Cancel", but it didn't do anything. Some of the symbols were in another alphabet. I think it was Arabic.

So, I held down the power button till it turned off, waited a few second then click the power button. Nothing happened.

So, I clicked it one more time, and a really loud Kind of "Buzzing" sound appeared. I'm not religious, but it almost sounded demonic. It was terrifying and disturbing, and lasted about 2 seconds. Yet, the power was still off.

It gave me such a fright that I threw the Laptop slightly and IIMMEDIATELY unplugged it.

It hasn't done anything since, but I'm still freaked out about it.

What happened to my computer? I really need to know. Has this ever happened before?

I know this sounds like a made up story, but it's true. Please, I need help.

I have added my Credit Card, but Paypal will not let me add funds to my account. When I click "Verify Card", it takes me to the place where I verify my Debit Account. I do not have all of the necessary information to verify my Debit, and find it pointless since I would never use it. How can I add funds to my account from my credit card from where I am now.

This is my little opinion:

On Encyclopedia Dramatica, I find some very rude, disgusting and offencsive humor. Many people say it is fairly stupid, and they are right. However, it's that kind of stupid that people like Colbert use: It's stupid, but deep down it's really smart, clever and funny. Also, they aren't bound by being politically correct, which can make they're articles that much more funny and true.

Many people say that Uncyclopedia is more clever and smart when it comes to they're satire. I, however, have not once found a single article that is just that. They all seem to be very nonlinear and just plain childish with they're humor. It's just, too preschool, in my opinion. And being more SFW than ED just makes it that much more childish.

I have laughed very hard at ED, but not once at Uncyclopedia. Not to mention that ED speaks much more of the truth, even when being sarcastic.

I have heard that a few laptops allow you to upgrade your Graphics Card and Processor by dissembling and replacing the two. Is it possible with the Samsung r580, or will I just have to live with it till I can afford a better Laptop?

I have looked all over the internet, and have not found a single place where I can find the Laptop Version, only the PC version. I am willing to either buy it online, or get it at a store, but It would have to be within Canada.

I haven't been able to with my Vanilla MasterCard.

I have registered it online, and live in the Canadian area. I think the problem would be that it asks for your House Name Or Number, Which you cannot put on the card as far as I know.

Any advice? I don't want to find out I wasted 25$ for absolutly NOTHING.

A while ago, I was trying to get a game to work on my laptop that kept popping up with an Error.

A guy on a site said that if you disable you graphics processing unit for the amount of time you were playing the game, then just enable it when your done, it would work.

So, I disabled the Graphics processing unit, then went to restart my laptop, but when it restarted, it had the same look as if you run your computer in safe mode.

I went to enable my Graphics Processor, but the only option was to disable a blank text where the graphics processor would be. I thought that it might work, so I tried it, attempted to restart my Laptop, but as soon as my OS loads, the screen is perminantly black, with no function other than the power button, yet still running. Can someone help me get this back to normal?

I am running Windows XP as my OS.

No, I am not talking about creating a weapon with the workbenches in the game, I am talking about taking a weapon from within the game already, copying it, then editing the name and how it reacts with the world(Damage, value, weight, etc.) I know it can only be done with the PC version, but I want to give my character something like a customized revolver that does 150 points of Damage, and give it a new name, you know, stuff like that.

I know it can be done, and would be really simple if I knew how. But, how do I do it?

A problem has come up: Whenever I try to open Metal Gear Online from Metal Gear Solid 4, it always goes to the loading screen for a short time, then just closes, and goes back to the PS3 start up screen(XMB). This is very recent, but how do I fix it?

I am not referring to the "Everybody Wants Some", But the other used one, It has the Lyrics "You ain't got nothing but fun", and sounds like It might be country. I have not been able to find the song, but would like to listen to it.

A few months ago, While downloading some torrents, my laptop unexplainable froze. Now, whenever I start up my laptop, I usually have a few minutes or seconds to do something before it freezes, and I have to hold down the Power to disconnect the power circuits and shut it down. I suspect it is a virus, because as I recall, I was unzipping a file to a downloaded Antivirus Installer, because my normal one ran out.

I do not have the money to hire someone to fix it, and I am being asked to trade for a better quality Laptop in 15 days.

So, how can I fix this problem? Remember, I can Access my Desktop and Toolbar for about a minute before it freezes, and I got the start up screen where I can press F12.

WIth most characters in the game, for their move list, I usually see a Z direction that needs to be done.

I have done the Forward, Down, Forward-down directions that people suggest, but it still doesn't work. How do I do this?
