The tail disconnected from the sink basket. I took the tail fitting to the hardware store and replaced it. When I tried to connect to the sink basket, the threads on the basket are also stripped. This is a rental and my landlord isn't very quick on repairs. Is there a temporary fix for the stripped threads on the sink basket so I can connect the tail and use the sink?
