Since I am getting older I no longer run because it is too hard on my achy knees, instead I use an elliptical trainer for cardio and I am just curious as to what the equivalent in walking steps is to a single elliptical step. It would seem to me that depending on the amount of resistance 2 to 4 walking steps would equal a single elliptical step. I do an hour on the elliptical at a good pace with stiff resistance six days a week, so I know I'm exceeding the exercise equivalent of the ten thousand step threshold already, but I am just curious and this information may help inform others who also use elliptical trainers.

A previous version of this question was removed, so I will try to explain it further. There is no offense intended toward LeBron James. I am using him as an example of one extreme simply because he is so widely well known, a wealthy guy, and most people would agree that he is by no means good looking.

Would you rather pose an interesting Question that makes other people think or would you rather give a well thought out Answer that is truly informative? Both are rewarding but I prefer asking interesting questions although I have given far more answers.

Was the Time Machine used in an episode of The Big Bang Theory THE TIME MACHINE from the original movie based on H.G. Wells' famous novel?

It looked too new, no apparent scratches or wear for a 53 year old time machine. I need some real sleuths to help me out on this one. I will not rest until this question is answered.

I am not asking what the "Best" TV theme song in history is. That is for another question. The song "Secret Agent Man" is from the 1960's TV series "Secret Agent" starring two time Emmy winner Patrick Mcgoohan. Sung by the legendary Johnny Rivers the song starts out with a stunning guitar riff that once heard, you will never forget. Why doesn't Yahoo stick to the maxim, "If it ain't broke don't fix it?"

You give a good answer, then someone following you moves a few words around to come up with their "answer." Others don't even bother to do that. They just lift a sentence or two directly from your answer, then claim it as theirs. I know imitation is supposed to be the sincerest form of flattery, but I want to know how all the intelligent people feel about others who can't even come up with an original thought.

I have recently noticed that many Best Answers were the result of only one person casting a vote among several or even many potentially excellent answers. Since many people spend a lot of time giving well thought out answers this seems somewhat of a disservice to Yahoo answerers to me. What do you think?
