My girlfriend was kicked out of the house by her mother. She told me that her mom said to her "I hate you! I wish you were never born! Get the f*** out!". Her father left her mom. Her mom likes me. She thinks I'm too good to be with her daughter. Which makes me.... idk bothered I guess. Anyways, my girlfriend asked if she could stay with me. I don't want her to because I want my own space. Besides, I live in a small apartment with one room. She has no family or friends to turn to in her situation. I wanted to tell her is there any shelters she could go to, but I didn't. But I don't want to deny her. What should I do?

I don't see myself having a girlfriend, getting married or having kids. I just don't see it. The reason I don't want any kids is because it is a big responsibility, and I don't think I would make a good father. See, my father wasn't a good dad, and I don't think I should ever have children because I wouldn't make a good father. I don't want history to repeat itself. This is my opinion. I just want to be independent and have my freedom. Am I wrong or selfish for thinking this way?
