Okay, so I have an audition for Midsummer Night's Dream on Saturday, and I'm trying to really understand the monologue I'm doing for it. Can anyone help me? By the way, I didn't pick it--they did. So, I can't change it. Anyways, here's the monologue:

If we shadows have offended,

think but this and all is mended,

that you have but slumbered here

while these visions did appear,

and this weak and idle theme,

no more yielding but a dream,

gentles, do not reprehend.

If you pardon, we will mend.

And, as i am an honest Puck,

if we have an unearn-ed luck

now to scape the serpent's tongue,

we will make amends erelong,

else the Puck a liar call.

Good night unto you all.

Give me your hands if we be friends,

And Robin shall restore amends.

It's the final monologue in the play, and it's Puck's. I also need tips on how to act it out, since I have no idea. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!
