The tattoo isn't peeling much anymore. All the scabs have fallen off and it looks very nice. It is smallish and on my wrist. I've taken good care of it, covered it when I went in the sun kept it clean and moisturized. I want to go swimming tomorrow. Can I?

My tattoo is on my wrist and it started to scab. The scab started to peel off and was coming off while in the shower. The tattoo is over a week old and when the scab came off the skin underneath is shiny. Is this normal? Will it go away or did it scar?

I got a tatto one week ago and I'm worried it's not healing right?
I understand it's going to scab and heal but in certain areas it looks like there's no ink where when I originally got the tattoo it was connected and pretty. I haven't scratched it or hit it I've been very careful. When it heals will it look nice again because right now it looks like the scabs are cracking and separating and that it's going to look bad after it heals. It's my first tattoo and I just want to make sure it's ok.
