My mother-in-law volunteered to give us a baby shower as soon as she found out we are expecting, which was in November. Now she is asking my husband for money to help pay for it. Should we have to give her money to help fund the shower? I would rather spend the money on the baby and forget the shower. I am the card holder. I never had a company ask me to fax over my ID. Does that sound fishy, sort of like a scam?

He went to court and pled no lo contendre. He was sentenced to JAG probation for a year and a $250.00 fine. Somehow his record got sealed and it is showing that he went under First Offender Treatment, but he did not. He need his FOA treatment for something else. What can he do about proving he didn't ask for first offender treatment the first time.

Feb 8th. Which did not happen! I was then given ref 8802 when calling and now I must use reference 1121 when calling. I have talked to several irs reps and none of the answers are the same.
