I'm in the process of making a new website and I want my header/nav area to be similar to the one on Makers Quarter - http://www.makersquarter.com/

I'm still new to front-end development stuff, but I couldn't find anything helpful in the html source and I couldn't really make out the css. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated!

Also, on the button they have in the middle that says 'our community' I found out it's 'hollow' (the code says ".buton.hollow {border: 6px;...") anyway, is there a way to apply this to the menu section in the nav? Would it follow the same properties?

I'm currently running a 2011 re-furbished MacBook Pro. I've had it about a year now and have never had a problem. I love it. My concern is mostly hardware related. I do a lot of work in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro X. So I need to room to keep and run everything efficiently and have space for files. The new iMac has the Fusion Drive option that sounds appealing, but is it right for me? Would it be worth the upgrade? Any and all thoughts would be appreciated.

This is probably an age old question by now, but I don't feel like searching for hours.

Here's the situation:

I want a camera that takes good HD video and good stills as well.

I'm not looking for anything 'professional' grade necessarily, just something a little more high end for an intermediate level - if that makes sense.

The only thing I have in mind is a Nikon Coolpix that has 16 MP and shoots HD video as well. $170. Seemed decent enough.

Thoughts and suggestions please! (I'm willing to go tops around $300 range)

If it matters, the video feature is because I intend to take video of me playing guitar covers and the such. Thanks in advance. Easy points.

Like five years ago or so, I read a book about spies and world war two and Auschwitz and the like. What I remember from the book is that there was a shoemaker who was at the camp, a lady in a cabin, someone was tied to a stake or something and had dogs attack him, and some guys who had to climb a wire and defuse a bomb type thing (I think?) I'm pretty sure there was an evil doctor as well. That's about all that I can recall and I'm fairly certain the title had the word "cross" or 'mark' in it. The cover was black with the title at the top and the symbol of a bird carrying a medal with a swastika or something of the sort.

I know these details are few and possibly inaccurate, but any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I can't figure out the book for the life of me and it's driving me insane.

I get $5000 for my 18th birthday and this is my idea on how to use it: I want to take two thousand out in cash to use at my will and keep three thousand in an account that will only be used to pay bills and such. I want to get an Iphone and have the monthly bill taken out of the three thousand so I don't really have to worry about it. Now, my question to you: is this idea as good as I think it is? Yes or no please explain your reasoning.

Lately I've been checking out some new bands and I realize a lot of them play 7 and/or 8 string guitars. So I would like to find more music like this.

What bands do you like that play 7 or 8 string guitars? I don't care if they are instrumental or not. And what is your favorite song from that band?

I'm a junior in High School, but I'm starting to question the school system. Not just mine, but all. Why do adults get to choose how the education system is ran? It's not them who has to do the learning, so why do they get to decide what we learn and such. If it's my education why can't I only take the classes I want? Why does the state of Ohio choose what course I have to take? I don't like math, mostly because I have no interest in it, so I do rather poorly. With that being said, why does the state tell me that I have to take it over and over and still only really learn bits and pieces?

I understand if you don't agree with anything I said and if you think all my questions are stupid, well maybe they are then. But what do you think? Agree or disagree, and why?

How soon is too soon to tell someone you love them? i love my gf, but im kind of afraid to tell her, because i dont want to freak her out or anything since we've only been dating a little over 2 weeks...Anything would be really appreciated, thanks

Alright so ive been stretching my ears for about a month now. im at a 6 gauge now and started at 10. My ears healed fast ive learned. so since they heal so fast and i take care of them (clean them 3X a day everyday) could i stretch them every week?

Alright i got my ears gauged saturday (the 12th) and i was wondering how long it should take for my ears to heal? and how to tell if they have healed? and my other question is, from what ive read, when i go up a size and i plan on using taper pins, what should i do or use to make sure they go through and preferably easier? please and thank you!

There's this freshman girl in my gym class, and im a sophomore, so i have no other classes with her. She doesnt have myspace or facebook as far as i know.

I say "hi {her name here}" to here all the time but thats about it. at homecoming she came up to me and gave me a hug, kinda out of nowhere. Today in gym class she got really pissed because, like me, she doesnt really try that hard or do anything (i dont mind, i dont either) and after class she was just standing there kinda sad looking, and i wanted to talk to her, but im shy around girls i dont know to well, and so i just stood off to the side, staring at the door. her and her friends seemed to glance at me a lot tho, i couldn't hear anything they said, other than "whats wrong" so i just was in my own little world for a lil bit

so, does she like me? maybe? i dont think she has a boyfriend either....

if there's separation of church and state, and some people have different beliefs than others, or no beliefs, why is it, that we put "in god we trust" on our money? 'Cause some people don't trust in god, or some just don't believe in him. and if the government shouldn't have a say in our religion, why do they put that on our currency?

I want to do more covers of songs, but they have parts where its clean, then distorted then clean again, and it switches between the tones. So, how do i easily change from a distorted tone to a clean one, with out having to push the little button on my amp and messing up the video??

Don't tell me to have someone else do it, bcuz ive asked and they wont.

I recently came down with a sore throat, raspy voice, and terrible cough. I went to my doctor she said it may be allergies because my mom smokes. I say, she needs to recheck. I personally have narrowed my disease possibilities down to:

Croup &

Strep.

I'm leaning towards croup. If it is so, how long until it goes away, and whats the most effective, home cure??

Ok, so ive been friends with this girl for a really long time now, and thats it just friends. I'm writing a story about these five brothers (Saint, Evan, Jae, John, and Mike) and there supposed to be immortal and have like Vampire qualities, but there not vampires. There more like "The Ultimate Warrior" They have super strength, speed, and reflexes. They were born before Jesus and can't get hurt or anything in that matter.

Now, I need the time period before Jesus existed, and common names from that era. Help me, please.
