I have a Asus G1vx laptop, and I installed crysis 2 on it when it came out, played through it a few times, then didn't play it much. Recently I reinstalled windows 7 on my laptop, and with that crysis. I tried to play it again and it worked fine at first. But I quickly noticed a lag. It isn't a FPS lag, it is more of a game play issue. All the in-game mechanics will get supper slow for a second then speed up for a second then get slow again. This makes the game very hard to play, it doesn't matter if I am at a spot with a ton of NPCs or just starting a level. I have tried many of the basic things stuff like turn off vsync and change settings, but I am wondering if it is an issue with my video card driver or crysis updates(I updated drivers when I installed windows)

Intel Core 2 duo@ 2.0ghz

Nvidia geforce GTX 260m with 1gb gddr3

4gb DDR2 ram

this used to run crysis just fine

I live in rule Michigan, where internet options like DSL, Cable or even 3G are not an option. So we are stuck paying a relativity high price for satellite internet, and to make matters worse a family of 4 has to share 250mb a day. I am a computer nerd, going to college for programming, and Hughes net makes it almost impossible to learn from home. One of my preferred ways of learning is with videos. Youtube Is a very good place for learning how to program, network or even for simple entertainment (no way!), but I always have to watch videos at 240p, and after 15 videos of a 45 part series there goes most of your data. I am wondering if there is an ISP like Hughes net but without the download cap, or some web site or program that compresses youtube videos even more (server side) or something that would make this more usable. I know there is a time overnight where you can download all you want, so I wonder if there is a downloader program that can be scheduled also? Thinks in advanced

I am looking for a place online where i can get one that works with voice and 3g on the Sprint network and Verizon network... And whatever Trackfone uses. I know there is the GSM and CDMA networks and they use something like 800/1800 and 900/1900 bands or something but thats all I really know! It would be nice to know a model or site that could tell me models I need to get

Anyways it has android 2.2, and i know the stock version of it has tethering support, but is disabled by the carrier. I have used programs like Wifi Tether and Barnacle wifi Tether, but i know having root access to you phone is a HUGE security risk, soz i was wondering if there is a way to go into some settings file, enable wifi tethering and then un-root, and i can tether?

its a rather old machine, amd duron 1.35ghz 778 mb of ram ati RADEON 9225 (except the card everything calls it a 9250) that is on a.. dare i say it... agp plug, eww. and a C-Media AC'97 Audio Device driver vr 5.12.1.41 with Xear 3d 3d audio engine anyways with that out of the way, and the knowledge that this is my brothers computer, not mine of course, mine plays crysis on medium detail with no trouble! this Machine would die installing it. after being a bit long winded my problem it if i say in the settings it is a 4 speaker setup and plug the speakers into the blue line in plug they work! great for a little while, then he notices some games don't have sound, like far cry and gta, so is there a way to fix this problem or tell the computer to send all the audio out the line in jack thanks and sorry about being so long winded.

My Friend's xbox stopped reading disks and he is getting rid of it because he has a 360, but he has allot of halo 2 maps on his xbox, he had xbox live sins like 2003 or something so he gave me his halo 2 but he sayed he never had a xbox memory card so id have to find a way to get the maps off of it. So i thought id find a way, to do this hopefully w/o a memory card, so is there a alternative way of doing this?
