  • How can you justify idol worship?

When all the religions are against idol worship...

CHRISTIANITY: Little children, keep yourselves away from idols. 1 John 5:21

    HINDUISM:

" Na tasya pratima asti (" There is no image of Him") [Yajurved 32:3]

" There is no image of Himwhose glory verily is great. He sustains within Himself all luminous objects like sun etc.May He not harm me, this is my prayer. As He in unborn. He deserves our worship [The Yajurved by Devi Chand M.A.pg 377]

ISLAM: "Verily ye, (unbelievers), and the (false) gods that ye worship besides Allah, are (but) fuel for Hell ! To it will ye (surely) come ! (The Noble Quran, 21:98)". And "Lo! Abraham said to his father Azar: "Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error. (The Noble Quran, 6:74)"

But still people indulge in idol worship. But s far as I know, Muslims don't.. why is it so?

  • Why does bible contain obscene verses and absurdity if christians consider it to be the word of God?

I was surprised to see so many obsecene verses while reading the bible? and Still christians consider it to be the word of God? I really doubt that the current bible is distorted..

    for eg: like, GENESIS

47:29 Joseph ordered to place his hand under father's thigh

15:29-30 Women must make sin offering for menstrual periods

35:2 Reuben sleeps with father's concubine

  • Prophet Muhammad's Name Found in the Bible?

BREAKING NEWS: Prophet Muhammad's Name Found in the Bible

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wm3sZfPwv1g&feature...

Christians may say that this video is manipulated one, but then you will have to agree that the Bible is also manipulated one, coz the word Muhammad can be clearly found in the original Hebrew Bible. If you possess one, go and check up Song of Solomon 5:16

  • Christians, isn't your belief wrong?

    Numbers 23:19

    New International Version (NIV)

"God is not human, that he should lie,

not a human being, that he should change his mind.

Does he speak and then not act?

Does he promise and not fulfill?"

    Luke 3:38

"he son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God."

    Chronicles 28:6

He(God) said to me(David), `It is Solomon your son who shall build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my Son, and I will be his Father.

Yu say that Jesus(pbuh) is God, and at the same time he is the son of God.

But look at the above verses. Its very clear that God cannot be a man and also God cannot have a son. Here Prophet Adam(pbuh), is referred as son of God;Solomon(pbuh) is referred to as son of God; meaning that he is very dearer to God and that he is the prophet of God. This same concept applies to Jesus(pbuh) as well.

When you read the verses(in fact the whole bible) keeping in mind that there is only one God who has created all of us and God has chosen messengers from among the Human beings to spread his word, there is no room for any confusion. Why are making it so complicated and messy with all the Trinity and stuffs?

Its time you stop listening to the priests and use your conscience

  • Thoughts on this Bible verse (Old Testament) ?

    Old Testament Bible:

Book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:

"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."

Who is him referred to here? Isn't it Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the book the Holy Quran ?

When Archangel Gabrail commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra - "Read", he replied, "I am not learned".

Only serious and logic answers welcome....

  • which prophet s last sermon is this?

"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. ALLAH has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. Allah has Judged that there shall be no interest and that all the interest due to Abbas ibn 'Abd'al Muttalib (Prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived...

Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship ALLAH, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.

Remember, one day you will appear before ALLAH and answer your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People, NO PROPHET OR APOSTLE WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the QURAN and my example, the SUNNAH and if you follow these you will never go astray.

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, O ALLAH, that I have conveyed your message to your people".

  • Why do Christians indulge in idol worship?

Idol worship is condemned in Bible just as it is condemned in Quran. But Muslims don't do idol worship, whereas Christians do idol worship. Hence can't I say that Christians are not obeying Jesus (pbuh) whereas Muslims do?

    Exodus 20:1-15

And God spoke all these words, saying, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. “You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, ...

  • Why Christians are not obeying Jesus Christ?

    Pork forbidden in Bible:

    Leviticus 11:7-8

"And the swine, though he divided the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.

"Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you."

    Deuteronomy 14:8

"And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass

    Alcohol forbidden in Bible:

ome of the reasons Scripture condemns the use of alcoholic beverages are that they distort the perception of reality (Is 28:7; Prov 23:33); they impair the capacity to make moral, responsible decisions (Lev 10:9-11); they weaken moral sensitivities and inhibitions (Gen 9:21; 19:32; Hab 2:15; Is 5:11-12); they cause physical sickness (Prov 23:20-21; Hos 7:5; Is 19:14; Ps 60:3); and they disqualify for both civil and religious service (Prov 31:4-5; Lev 10:9-11; Ezek 44:23; 1 Tim 3:2-3; Titus 1:7-8)." (REF: S. Bacchiocchi. The Sobering Facts About New Testament Wine, Signs of the Times, January 1990)

But almost all christians consume both pork and Alcohol. Why they are not obeying Jesus Christ (pbuh) if he is their god??

But most of the muslims follow his teachings by avoiding alcohol and pork.

Hence Muslims are more closer to Jesus Christ(pbuh) since he is one of the Mightiest messengers of God. What have Christians got to say on this??
