I am an amateur metal detector and I find a lot of aluminum cans and metal bottle caps. I've been wondering if those metals could be harmful to the soil in which they're buried. 

I like to call my cat "My little Boopie (kind of like Betty Boop)". 

My worst: I was making pancakes for the very first time and when I was through with cooking, I had discovered that the middle parts of the pancakes were uncooked. Lesson: Always make sure you've cooked your food properly before you eat it. 

His previous owner would feed him leftovers, if that's of any relevance. I have to keep the butter out of his reach, as that seems to be his favorite, but he seems to like anything that gets left out for a significant amount of time. He DOES eat regular cat food as well. I'm concerned that his bad eating habits could lead to serious health problems. He's an older cat (not elderly, but getting up there).  What can be done to deter this bad habit of his?

I'm not really a coin collector. I just want to clean up the loose change I have. 

My uncle (my mother's twin brother) died the same year I was born. My grandfather (again, on my mother's side) didn't even try to get into contact with any of us or even his children. I don't know why but never having known them leaves me with a strange sense of emptiness. I have family that I never really got the chance to know. Is that wrong? Or is it natural to feel that way?
