3 Very Important things I would like to point out 1st: DO NOT ANSWER IF YOU'RE NOT 100% SURE THAT YOU'RE RIGHT, I'm sick and tired of people answering without a knowledge, giving the wrong answer and misleading using the wrong example 2nd: Please, before you ask a question, look on the internet first, if you can't find what you're looking for, then ask. I'm pretty sure you'll get an answer faster if you search the internet rather than wait for an expert with the correct ruling to clear it up 3rd: If you're an asker, don't be a R-Tard and pick an answer that is incorrect just because it's what you wanted to hear, because last time I checked, Facts + Evidences > Opinion + Foolishness Anyways... 97% of my rulings are accurate and I'll double check if there are questions I can't answer You can email me, and in case you are not familiar with me, I'm one of the best person informed with the best rulings (on Yahoo! Answers)

I found the mean to be 557.23, now I need to find the Interquartile range.

    If I take Q3 - Q1, it happens to be 760 - 312 = 448

  • Rulings 101 - Priority?

Instead of like last time with the 10 questions, I'll just briefly go over 'Priority' issues, I do recommend everyone to read this, even if you have plenty of experiences, because there may be things in here that you may have not known before

Priority: The right of the turn player to perform certain actions before the opponent does.

Priority is passed to your opponent if you decide to perform a certain action, and priority is passed back to you if your opponent responds with something, and so on until neither play desires to chain anymore cards

Now, a lot of people intend to say, "I call Priority~!"

And that is wrong, you don't "Call" Priority, you either have it or not, so if your friends is saying that, correct him/her

Also, no monsters have priority, the turn player do, so if someone says, "But Lonefire has priority, slap him/her across the face."

    ...

    ...

    ...

    Just kidding, kindly correct him/her

The turn play has priority throughout his/her turn, and to break that down...

    1. Whenever the turn player summons a monster

    2. Whenever a chain resolves

    3. Entering a phase / sub-step

Let's get on topic, oh wait, we’ve always been on topic ^_^.

    First thing, summon Response window

When you normal / special summon a monster, you have priority to activate a Spell speed 2 or higher / an Ignition effect

It doesn't have to be the ignition effect of the summoned monster, it can be any ignition effect, including Genex Ally Birdman in your hand or Plaguespreader Zombie in your grave

Notice: Priority allows you to activate an effect first, being chain link 1, NOT resolve an effect first, so your opponent can still respond with cards such as Bottomless Trap Hole or Torrential Tribute since priority is then passed to them

    Next, whenever a chain resolves

What can you do when you aren't in the summon response window right now?

Well, you can basically do any action that meets the criteria to do so.

There are some scenarios where the last thing to happen isn't a summon, in that case, your priority only allows you to activate Spell Speed 2 or higher effects

Ex: If the last thing to happen was adding a monster to your Hand via Reinforcement of the Army, you cannot use priority to Normal Summon that monster.

Or ... if the last thing to happen was sending Destiny Hero - Malicious to the Graveyard via Dark World Dealings, you cannot use priority to activate its Ignition Effect.

    Lastly, Entering a Phase / Sub-Step

Let's say Player A entered his Main Phase 1, he desires to tribute summon his Jinzo, while Player B has Zoma the Spirit face down, well, Player A has priority to tribute summon his Jinzo before Player B can activate his Zoma the Spirit

Same thing, during damage calculation, Player A decides he's going to activate the effect of his Honest, while player B also wants to activate his Honest, now, Player A is the turn player, he can activate his Honest before his opponent, and due to the fact that there can only be 1 chain link exist in Damage Calculation (With some rare exceptions), Player B can only chains his Honest to Player A's Honest, which wouldn't be very wise if you ask me

Another example, Lightsworns vs Effect Veiler

Let's say Luminia was negated by Effect Veiler, during the end phase, the turn player has priority to either activate the effect of Luminia, or pass his priority to his opponent, if he chooses to activate Luminia's effect, it will be negated, if he chooses to pass the priority, the opponent has the choice of stop the lingering effect of Effect Veiler, or continue to negate Luminia, then priority is passed back to the turn player, in this case, the turn player HAS to activate his Luminia while it being negated

One thing I didn't really get into is responding to something such as draw a card, but after the turn player draws, he/she has priority to activate a Spell Speed 2 or higher effect

So if you have 4 cards in your hand after you draw, and your opponent has a set Trap Dustshoot, you can activate your Mystical Space Typhoon or D.D. Crow and thus making Trap Dustshoot unusable

Now of course, there are things that can force you to give up your priority, such as Summoner Monk's mandatory trigger, Breaker's Mandatory Trigger, etc, etc...

And Black Garden's Mandatory trigger will almost always be Chain Link 1, thus not allowing you to use priority to activate Ignition effects

Another off topic (This is not the first off topic???) is the Simultaneous Effects Goes On Chain (AKA: SEGOC)

Chain Link 1: Turn Player's Mandatory

    Chain Link 2: Non-Turn Player's Mandatory

Chain Link 3: Turn Player's Optional

    Chain Link 4: Non-Turn Player's Optional

Why is this important? Because there will be people saying, "I have priority to activate Caius' effect."

Again, that is wrong, why? Because Caius is a mandatory trigger effect, it has no

  • Yu-Gi-Oh Rulings 101?

I've decided to do this after thinking about it for a while.

Here's what I'm going to do, I'm going to give 10 situations and the rulings for each one

Then, you guys can answer this question by giving me a respond, or ask a ruling question

I'm thinking about doing this every once a while when I gathered 10 good rulings to announce, some will be quick, and some will be slow, but in the end, you will have an answer.

    1. Pot of Duality vs Future Fusion

Q: Can you activate Pot of Duality the same turn you activate Future Fusion?

A: Yes, however, you cannot activate PoD the turn that the fusion monster is summoned via Future Fusion

    -Ruling

    1) If the 'Activation' is negated, you're allowed to special summon or activate another Pot of Duality

    2) If the 'Effect' is negated, then you're not allowed to special summon nor activate another PoD

    2. Exodia

I have made this mistake before, but I've learned my lesson

Exodia is an effect monster without an effect, the part to win the duel is a 'Win Condition', it's not continuous, so this is why Exodia cannot be negated by anything.

    3. Optional Triggers

Optional Trigger effects are commonly missing the timing, however, people intend to misunderstood them

    a) "If x happens, then you can ...."

    b) "When x happens, then you can ...."

In example (a), that's a 'If, you can' optional trigger which will not miss the timing, it only cares if the requirement(s) is/are met.

In example (b), it's a 'When, you can' optional trigger that will miss the timing if the last thing that happened was not meeting the requirement(s)

    4. Psi-Blocker

In order to understand Psi-Blocker fully, you must understand the rulings for 'Prohibition' first. Sure, Psi-Blocker and Prohibition is different, I agree, however, most of the scenarios that you will come across can be found in the rulings of Prohibition.

If Psi-Blocker is on the field while Royal Decree is active, and you declare Royal Decree for Psi-Blocker's effect, Royal Decree's effect will no longer apply until the effect expires. And no, removing him from the field will not stop the 'Lingering Effect'

    -Ruling

    1) The card you declared can be used as cost

    2) The card you declared cannot be used as a synchro material monster

    5. Necrovalley

As some of you know, Necrovalley recently received an erratum, which threw many people off. But really, nothing major has changed, here are some 'new' stuff that has been ruled

    1) This card no longer negates, it lets the card 'Resolve without an effect'

    2) 'Affect' generally means physically moving the card out of the grave to elsewhere

    3) Cost that 'Affects' the grave will not be stopped by Necrovalley

    4) Cards such as Plaguespreader Zombie or Stardust Dragon has no conflict with Necrovalley

    6. Quick Effect vs Damage Step

Q: Can a Quick Effect be activated during the damage step?

A: If the Quick Effect is able to negate Activations, then yes, otherwise, no it cannot

-Skull Meister is an exception in which it does not negate activation but is allowed to be activated during the damage step

    7. Light and Darkness Dragon

Q: What happens if LaDD does not have 500 atk / def to lose?

A: Many will say that LaDD cannot negate any longer, and that is correct, however, if I was to go into more detail, due to LaDD being mandatory, it will still be chain link 2, then when it's LaDD's turn to resolve, it will resolve without an effect.

    Example:

Chain Link 1: Jar of Greed

Chain Link 2: LaDD (800/400, but it still activates)

Chain Link 3: Chain Strike <-- this is why LaDD being Chain Link 2 may be important

    8. Solemn Judgment

Q: Can Solemn Judgment negate a normal summoned via Ultimate Offering?

A: No, in TCG, it is ruled as the normal summon is caused by an effect, therefore, Solemn will not be able to negate that normal summon

    9. Karakuri

The new archetype 'Karakuri' has been throwing people off.

    -Rulings

    1) If a Karakuri is in def mode, you do not have to attack with that card

    2) If a Karakuri is in atk mode, you are required to enter your battle phase and cannot leave until you've attacked with a Karakuri monster

    3) If you're prevented from attacking (Gravity Bind, Level Limit, etc.) while you control an atk position Karakuri, you are required to enter your battle phase as well, then proceed to end phase from there

    4) If you skipped your battle phase by a card effect (meaning you cannot enter your battle phase), you do not have to attack with a Karakuri monster

    10. Phantom of Chaos

Q: What happens if Phantom of Chaos has already changed its name, but later on Skill Drain/Forbidden Chalice negated the effect?

A: It will keep the monster's name, atk, def, and effect (of course negated though) of the monster until the effect wares off, however, no

(I name these people based on the # of ruling Qs they answer)

    2. Name up to 10 people (Yahoo! Answers) that builds the most outstanding deck (personal point of view)

    -MrJ

    -Ra!nbow

    -Yu-Gi-Oh Wikia (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page)

-Yes, It said, "Use this card (Starlight Road) with your own 'Yubel - Terror Incarnate' so it will evolve to it´s last form and you get a 'Stardust Dragon' in the same turn."

And clearly it actually miss the timing, you can't find it anymore because someone edited it

    12. What is your favorite archetype?

  • Opinions on a few Yu-Gi-Oh cards?

    1. Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity

    2. Polar God King Thor

    3. Polar God King Loki

    4. Polar God Sacred Emperor Odin

    1. I think this card is BROKEN !!!!

A lv 1 monster that isn't hard to summon (Torrential, Trap Hole, Fissure, etc, etc...)

It's the only lv 1 monster that has the highest atk & def

Hence, It is lv 1 !!! meaning that Burden of the Mighty would not be a wise choice to go aginst it

It is meant to go against synchros, if it equips a synchro with it, as long as it has 1500 atk or higher, a Limiter Removal will make an OTK, even FTK is possible

    2. This card is also broke

It is a Majestic Star Dragon, a Semi Colossal Fighter and a Yomi Ghoul combined together

A synchro monster with the attribute of Divine?

It really isn't a hard monster to summon, it would just be like the times when Dark Strike Fighter was in everyone's extra deck

    3. The card is okay

But it's just like a Harpie's Feather Duster, plus that it can spam Mirror Force, Torrential, etc...

    4. This card is an Obelisk itself (legal version)

With some sore of draw power, combined with Loki & Thor (recycle Torrential), can draw every turn + deal damage + another recycle thus creating a loop

I would like to know your opinions on these 4 cards
