  • costa coffee free to schoolchildren?

I have just found out that Costa Coffee has been visiting my daughter`s state school every Thursday and giving out free coffee. I find it quite worrying that this company can get into out schools and start targeting our children at such an early and impressionable age, and wondered if anyone else things that this is unethical? She is twelve and has been given the coffee for free. I`m not sure if it is decaf or not, but the school did not ask for parental permission.

  • Anyone who wants to contribute writing for our online urban magazine?

    Your Question

Anyone who would like to write cutting edge articles for possible publication on our new urban culture website?

We are looking for imaginative writers to contribute articles to our new 3D Urban Culture website. The categories can be anything from arts, politics, current affairs, fashion, or anything else that grabs our interest and fits in with the vibe of our site. We don`t offer re-numeration for the articles, but we believe that our site will be hugely popular, and that our successful writers will gain a great deal of exposure when their work is published on our site. Please feel free to have a look at the editorial section of our website http://www.feedyourhead3d.com/ ( it is still not completely finished) and to contact me with any suggestions or articles. Thanks!

  • how do I give my boyfriend a great thanksgiving?

    Hi,

I`m Englilsh and have met a lovely american man who now lives in England. He is obviously away from his family and I want to know how to give him a perfect thanksgiving day. I know the origins of the occasion, but not what people actually do. I also know that there`s a dinner involved which is a bit scary. Please- any suggestions about how I can make it a good day for him would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

  • disabled parent benefit?

I am a single parent with 2 children, aged 9 and 14, and I suffer from M.E. Unfortunately my condition has now deteriorated to such an extent that I have had to leave my job, and now receive benefits and DLA. My problem is that it`s getting so bad that I can`t or shouldn`t be driving, but I can`t get my children to school otherwise and there is nobody to help me.I also am finding it hard to look after them, as in cooking meals. They eat a lot of fresh fruit, but a home-cooked meal is beyond my abilities now, and I am having to give them horrible chilled ready-meals, or sandwiches etc. I`m terrified that social services might get involved, as I am a good mother and an intelligent person, and hate the thought of somebody deciding what is best for my family and I, and assuming that I`m totally incapable. I just need some help getting them to school and ensuring that they eat well, but don`t know what kind of help might be available, or how to access it. As I have DLA because I can`t cook a meal for myself etc, is there any support for them?
