  • Does "reverse transferring" look terrible?

Does reverse transferring, or transferring from a four year institution to a two year, kill my chances of getting into another four year school following a semester at a community college? I'm currently at a four year school but after some personal issues resulting from major depression (currently making a lot of progress with this) my GPA is just above a 2. I was considering a semester at community college to get some support at home while getting my motivation and GPA up (still have a few GEDs I can complete). Would this look awful on an application to a new four year school for the spring term? or will I be safest spending another 10K at a school I'm not interested in continuing my education at?

  • iPod repair? Part replacement?

I have a 4th gen iPod touch (64g) and had the charging cord ripped from the port. The iPod will not connect to the computer or charge and when looking at the port there is obvious damage. Apple says the iPod isn't under warranty (I was lucky enough to send it in and have them let me know after all the hassle) They said they would repair it for $200 but I am looking for a cheaper repair, or to possibly buy the part and replace it myself if possible. Any help?

  • When should I take protein and what type?

I'm just starting to lift regularly (almost every day) and I'm not sure what type of supplements I should be taking or how often I should be taking them. I am hoping to build muscle but I also want to lose 5-10 pounds in fat.

  • Should I be taking protein shakes during insanity workout!?

I've never taken protein, even when I used to lift, so I'm not familiar with it at all. Should I be using protein for this workout system?

  • Diet plan for insanity workout?

I'm a male and I've played soccer my entire life and it has kept me in excellent shape, but I have not been active with a team for almost four months now. I've put on some extra weight and I'm far from fit. I borrowed a copy of the insanity workout dvd's from a friend, which I plan to start tomorrow but my dilemma is I've always relied on soccer for all of my fitness and don't know proper dieting while doing such an intense program. As well, should I be taking protein? My main focus is to drop the excess weight I've gained and get back to playing weight and fitness.

  • What format should I use for a college letter?

I'm writing a letter of explanation to be sent with my transcript and academic credentials. The content of the letter will surround my grades as a junior and an explanation for their inconsistency. I'm not sure about the format I should use for this letter though. Any suggestions?

  • Which colleges best suit me in/around Ohio?

I live in Dayton, Ohio and I'm looking to pursue an English degree and want to stay close to home. My sister currently attends the University of Alabama so with two kids in college my parents are suggesting a state school for me. I scored a 30 on my ACT so hope to possibly obtain scholarships, or possibly in state tuition to nearby state schools. (Ex. Indiana University) What state schools in Ohio would best suit me?
