Our internet network is available on two computers in our home. The one I am on is a direct connection via wire and the other computer down the hall is a wireless connection. We've had this for many years and have very rarely had any problems; all of which were sorted out by simply resetting the modem. However, this evening the computer with the wireless internet connection lost signal, so I tried resetting the modem like always, but nothing happened. I tried it again, and nothing happened. I removed the antennae from the back of the computer and plugged it in again...no luck. Diagnose and repair said that the adapter was missing. Everything is EXACTLY the way it has been for years; please help me fix this!

I'm having an argument with a classmate about whether or not a comma or a semi-colon is more appropriate in this sentence:

"It prompts the spread of information, but only under certain circumstances such as emotional impact, and the relevance of the information to the user/reader."

I say that a semi-colon is more appropriate after "information" but she insists on the comma. What is the grammatically correct form?

I'm trying to find a printing company (online) that I can make custom 2012 photo calendars with. I know there are many out there, but are there any that meet the following criteria?

1. Calendars can be staple bound instead of spiral bound

2. No minimum purchase quantity

3. Does not make me download the template to my computer (in other words, lets me use software on their website)

I have an HP desktop computer. It's approximately three years old and has been working fine since day one. About two hours ago, I tried to close an internet window and it didn't close; however, the computer had not froze since I was still able to move the mouse. I tried restarting my computer. When it began to reboot, the blue "HP" screen came up as always and then a black screen came up with a silver "underscore" looking thing that flashes in the upper left hand corner. Nothing happens past this stage. I tried CTRL, ALT, Delete and it rebooted the computer again, but still stayed on that black screen. I then tried a manual shut off, and the same thing happened. Finally, I tried a manual shut off, unplugged the computer, and plugged it back in again. Same...no luck. Nothing happens when I press the F11, F12, or excape keys. Can someone please help?

I currently have a Nikon D3000 with the standard 18-55mm and 55-200mm kit lenses. I really want an ultra wide angle lens. I've been looking around and saw these things; like little attachments that you screw onto the end of your existing lens that converts it to wide angle. Here's an example:

What are the pros/cons of using a screw on attachment like that vs. buying a separate wide angle lens? I'm really not looking to spend $$$ on a new lens. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

I bought a domain name using godaddy.com. How do I use that domain name when I start to make the actual site. I was planning on using freewebs as the site host, but how do I use my already created domain name without having to pay for it again through freewebs? If there's an easier way than using freewebs, let me know.

We have a wireless internet connection that works fine on both of my macs and my Xbox 360. However, when we try to connect our internet to an HP laptop, it says "currently connected to the internet" but I am not able to use any web-browser. Also, it says that we're not connected to the local area connection, but we're connected to the wireless network connection. We've tried troubleshooting and cannot find any solutions. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I shoot my photos in RAW file format and have realized that RAW files are not supported by the version of photoshop that I use. I have Photoshop Elements 7.0. I've used Pixillion Image converter to convert from RAW file format to other formats, but I notice that every time I do so, the image converter introduces a lot of noise into the photo. Are there any image converter software that do not do this?

I'm trying to find the name of a movie (I think it was a sci-fi, but I'm not sure) where a police officer in the middle of the Nevada desert pulls over travelers and frames them by putting marijuana in their car, suitcase, etc and blaming them for it. He takes them to a jail and tortures them. He kept saying "TAK" whenever he was upset. Does anyone know what movie I'm talking about?

I was watching Jonah Hex on blu-ray last week. During the previews, there was a preview for some company (I think) where it had various clips of actors watching movies in a theater. The music starts off with a xylephone type of instrument and it a very cheerful tune. I believe Leonardo Di Caprio is one of the actors in the preview. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can find it?
