  • Dubstep song, "when the storm comes"?

There was a dubstep song popular ablut 4-5 years ago. It was relatively calm and slow for dubstep and had a powerful chorus. There was a male singer and I think that lyrics were "when the storm comes" but I'm not sure. Anyone?

  • Are atheists more moral than religious people?

Atheist do good and avoid evil because they care for other people. Religious people do good and avoid evil because of their selfish need to get rewarded in the afterlife. Doesn't it make atheists better people?

  • Should I give in to my father's emotional blackmail and guilttripping?

My father is a strict catholic fundamentalist. His siblings and him try to run the lives of every member of our family. Everyone usually yields, because when something is done not to their liking, they start sessions of guilttripping or blackmailing (you do not love me, if you loved me you would also love God; how can you brake your father's heart like that? you will never see your sister again, because you have bad influence on her) Lately, my cousin decided to "rise in revolt" against this holy terror. Among other things, she invited me and my wife (we are a same-sex couple) to her wedding. My father threw a tantrum. He said that if I attend the wedding with my "whore", he won't let my little sister attend the wedding... I am afraid that if we do come, the whole ceremony will turn into some kind of civil war.

It's not that I want to promote some "gay agenda" and "fight for equality"; in fact, I am not that pro-LGBT either.... the thing is that I want to start living my life how I want, I want to support my cousin in her attempts to live her life as she wants. We want to show my father (and his siblings) that they can no longer terrorize us. I'd really like to show him that his tantrums and blackmail won't work... but I am afraid of ruining the ceremony and hurting my little sister. What would you do if you were me?

  • What does "queer" really mean?

The word was coined to name all the people who did not fit into any category of gender or sexuality, but there are so many categories that literally everyone fits somewhere. So, what does "queer" really mean? Does it mean that the person is too ignorant or too lazy to find out his/her sexuality and identity? So far, I have met only heterosexual cisgender teenage girls who identified as "queer" because they wanted to be unique... and they seem to always wear fedoras. Is it what this term means nowadays? A normal girl who wants to be special and wear a fedora?

  • Word to describe lean, but strong person.?

I need a single word to describe the build of a person who is lean, even skinny, but strong, with well-shaped muscles... A body that was formed by intensive manual labor and temporary underfeeding, not workout and body-building. Is sinewy ok? Gnarled? Knotted?

  • Song by Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, GunsN'Roses for an angry, frustrated mood?

I'd like to find a song by the bands I mentioned that someone would listen to while angry, hopeless and frustrated (like everything-I-worked-for-went-to-hell frustrated) to make himself feel even worse... I checked some most popular song, but they are either sad or energetic, inspiring to fight.

  • What do you mean by 'coming out'?

I hear people saying that coming out was a big event in their lives, that they came out at a certain age or that something happened before or after they came out. I don't get it. Everyone meets new people all the time, they don't know your sexuality at first. There are many occasions when a new coworker, neighbor, friend or new family member learns that you're gay... so what is this "coming out"? Is this the moment when you told your parents? Or is every occasion when someone learns you're gay a "coming out"?

  • I need an adjective to describe an action that is managed by one person, but not done alone.?

The sentence is "It was her first xxxx mission". I think I can't use " unaided " or "unassisted" because it would mean that she went alone. What I want to say is that it was the first time her superiors weren't there to give orders and that she led a group of people. Can I use "Independent"?

  • Pretentious names for cute, fluffy dogs?

I need you to help me name 3 dogs for my story. I am going for the "pretentious old lady" vibe and I want the names to cause associations with little, fluffy, cute puppies. I've checked some list of "most popular dog names" but none of them seems to fit. Any suggestions?

  • Is there a word for this gesture...?

when a person raises his/her hands open and facing another person to the level of his/her shoulders (like in a gestutre of surrender) and then lets them drop them limply onto a table, counter or his/her thighs...it's a gesture that means "whatever, do what you want, but know that I do not approve of your decision" and it's usually accompanied with a sigh. Is there a word or a simple phrase for that gesture?

  • Bisexual woman says that datin a man an a woman is not cheating. Is she right?

How do you feel abou a bisexual woman who claims that being bisexual gives her a right to date two people at the same time (they don't know about each other, none of them agreed to have an open relationship). Her boyfriend and girlfriend found out about each other and they confronted the bisexual woman calling her a cheating s*t. She said that they are close-minded, intolerant bigots and that bisexuality means dating men and women simultaneously. What do you think about the whole situation?

  • Why do so many people think that only gay people have same-sex relationship?

Gay means homosexual'. Homosexual' means 'attracted *only* to people of the same gender. There are many bisexuals having same-sex relationship, but many people assume that they are gay. Why? Is it just a matter of not knowing the definition of gay and bi? Or do they assume that a bisexual person wouldn't want to be "stuck" in a "inferior" relationship if he or she could have a "valid" hetero relationship? Or do they think that a bisexual person who is in a same-sex relationship for a long period of time "becomes" gay?
