1 AnswerBotany6 months agoHelp with physics theory question? ?
If initial speed in the vertical direction is 36m/sec upward and the acceleration due to gravity is 10m/s each second downward, the vertical speed of arrow after 6 seconds is 24 m/sec downward.
I do not understand how the vertical speed can be 24 m/sec after 6 seconds.

1 AnswerChemistry8 months agoIs there another way to convert meters per second squared to feet per second squared besides using 3.281?
To convert 9.8 meters/sec^2 to ft/sec^2, I currently have 9.8 meters/sec^2 * 3.281 ft/sec^2 to get 32.15 ft/sec^2. I believe this is the correct answer but I was wondering if there was a way to solve it by actually showing each individual measurement. Thanks

2 AnswersMathematics8 months agoDo you think colleges will last the whole semester this fall? Or do you think they will be forced to shut down?
One theory I have heard is that colleges are just "planning" to go back to school to deter students from taking the semester off that way they make more money. People I have talked to are split: some say the semester will be completely online, while others say it will be done in-person. Thoughts?
