crockpot recipe for stuffed grape leaves?

I would like a recipe (perferablely vegetarian, otherwise I can modify that myself), for stuffed grape leaves that I can cook in my crockpot. I have searched for some online, but am having trouble finding the cooking instructions for a crockpot.

Also, a question about the rice. Is it cooked, uncooked, or partly cooked when you roll them. Or, what type of rice? long grain, short grain? Most recipes do not specify these details.

Finally, the amount of liquid to use for cooking. Do I need to fully cover the rolls?

Please be as specific as possible.

I've made this more than acouple times. I use hamburger but you sure could leave it out if your a veg.I make everything in a large pot. Make the rice ahead, cook everythiing your gonna put in it, , take the mixture and put a scoop in each leave. Just stack them in there. Then I pour a can of stewed tomatoes over it. Put the lid on, and don't peak for 6 hours on low.....WOW it's good.
email me if you have any problems

A veggie is a plant or part of a flower used as food

Both are good for you, each fruit/vegetable has different vitamins. Therefore as more variety, as better. Vegetables have generally less sugar than fruits.

they are a arabic dish and the real name is domaties. they call for meat, sorry that is the traditional way. rice cumin, cinnamin, different taste but very yummy. layer in the crock pot then cover with water, simmer for about a day. if you dont like meat or arabic food this is not for you.
