I've been making pancakes since I was 12 and I really know how to make them. I'm asking for some more creative recipes.

Beat an egg in a bowl, add some milk - about a glass and then just add flour and mi until it's still runny (syrup type) Pre-heat a greased pan and pour the mix just enough to touch all edges.
Oh I see you need something more original. I have added milk shakes instead of milk for sweet pancakes(grated apple too) and for salty ones I have added liquidized prawns and then chopped prawns for a prawn/seafood crêpe. Delicious!
Beat egg with hand beater until fluffy; beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth. Grease a heated griddle. Pour about 3 tablespoons batter from tip of large spoon or from pitcher onto hot griddle.
Cook pancakes until puffed and dry around edges (tiny bubbles will begin to form).
Turn and cook other sides until golden brown. Flipping once should be enough. The first pancake isn't always the best one.
Note: Buttermilk, yogurt, or sour cream may be substituted for some or all of the milk.
This may cause the batter to be too thick or too thin; adjust accordingly by adding milk to thin or flour to thicken. When you use a sour ingredient, cut the baking powder by 1/2 tablespoon and add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. If you don't have buttermilk, you can add powdered buttermilk to the milk (a good thing to have on the shelf).
actually the one on the bisquick box is pretty good I add what ever I want to them like bananas , blueberries and there really good with strawberries and whipped cream slice the strawberries and put a little sugar in them let them set a while and it makes a little juice very good it makes good waffles to and a whole lot easier a few of the recipes I read sound like a real pain in the a** for pancakes
Banana Pancakes * 2 large ripe bananas * 1 cup flour * 2 teaspoon baking powder * 1/2 teaspoon salt * 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon * dash of grated nutmeg * 1 Tbsp. sugar (or Splenda sweetener) * 1 cup milk * 2 eggs * 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil (may be omitted) * 2 additional bananas to slice and serve on top of the pancakes * Maple syrup
1. Mash 2 bananas and set aside. 2. Blend dry ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl. 3. Add banana and wet ingredients to dry ingredients and blend until everything is moist. Batter will appear lumpy. 4. Use oil or pan spray to lightly coat a frying pan or griddle. Heat the griddle until a drop of water spattered on it sizzles. 5. Drop spoonfuls of banana pancake batter on the griddle and cook on each side until the pancakes are golden brown, but cooked through. -------------- Apricot Pancakes * 1 cup flour * 1 egg * 1 cup milk * 1/2 can apricot * Butter (to grease pan)
1. Sift flour into a bowl. Add egg and mix lightly with a fork. 2. Add milk, mixing constantly until smooth. 3. Add apricots to mixture. 4. Put the mixture in a blender and blend for 1 minute or until smooth. 5. Heat a skillet and grease with butter. Put the desired amount of pancake batter in the skillet. 6. Cook for 3 minutes and flip over, until golden on each side. 7. Serve with maple syrup or a topping of your choice. --------- Baked German Apple Pancake 1/4 cup flour 1/4 cup milk Dash of salt 3 eggs, separated 2 tablespoons margarine 1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 3 large or 4 small Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced 1/4 inch thick
