Hendrix hardly had a chance to live his life. Dead at 27 you can't really compare the body of work between the two. Both wonderful talents to be sure.
Hendrix's skills were absolutely unbelievable. Try singing lead and playing lead guitar at the same time. Page never had to do that. He just played.
Hendrix was the greatest guitar player of his day. It's just too bad that he never realized his full potential.
