when i slow down my car starts shaking like its going to fall apart or something?

Okay, i have a 2005 chevy equinox and whenever i start slowing down at stop signs or lights, my car lightly starts shaking and you can hear like this dry type sound like something needs to be filled up. My tank is full it never really goes past half tank unless im having money probs lol. but i dont know what else to check besides that.

My car is still under warranty but i dont wanna have to pay the $100 deductible if its something real simple so was wondering if you guys could give me a few suggestions on other things to check. Thank u in advance

What would my taillights, head rest, or spare tire have anything to do with my car shaking when I brake?

Lets give the lady serious answers. The rotors probably were not replaced on such a new car. They most likely weren't machined or trued. The hub / rotor surfaces where probably not cleaned. It's pretty obvious a Chevrolet dealer didn't do the front brake job. The 2005 GM cars have a 100,000 mile drive-line and a 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Somebody isn't living up to their warranty, new or used car dealer.

It could be a few things, like a warped disc rotor, worn break pads, alignment ETC. instead of telling you what might be wrong you should go to a shop and explain these problems to a mechanic, I am sure he could tell you what might cause that. before you do all that check all you fluids, break, power steering, oil, coolant, transmission, if in doubt read the manual to the vehicle, still unsure and its under warranty take it in to get it serviced, because on some vehicles, 1 problem can lead to another so instead of a simple fix you got a major problem. best regards!

could be the fuel filter could be it needs ne wplugs could be it needs brakes could be your not using the right fuel easy to stop any shop and ask to have it check easy to go autozone ask to have it scan its free and best to know if or what it might be and sure it could be something easy most are... hard part about working on cars is knowing what is bad changing the parts most of them are easy with a feel tools.. go to autozone ask them if they would scan your car only takes a minute

if it's happening only when using the brakes you have warped brake rotors best to have them checked before you drive it again.

properly the popping sound in many circumstances comes from the CV joints at the same time as they are wiped out they commence popping or clicking, notwithstanding the shaking sounds better like the engine mounts you could prefer to have them regarded at in the experience that they are wiped out then your engine ought to fall out in case you hit a speed bump too quick.
