Why do some (not all!) Christians have this either/or attitude?

Check out this post (leaving off the name) and focus on the edit at the bottom - can you tell me how this is a love of Christ as opposed to a hatred of anything that does not follow this person's my-way-or-the-highway?:
===============================
What will the God-haters say when the day comes to meet Christ?
Will they say:
1) Sorry.........I never realized you were real.
2) But no one ever told me about this.
3) Is it too late to trust in you now?
Why not avoid these questions by turning to the only One who can save us from sin? Because remember; it's not a matter of "if" you will meet Him someday.......it's a matter of "when"
By the way, this isn't a rant.........this is a legitimate question with a plea for your response to Christ.....not to me.
Thanks for listening

This just in:
Not believing is the same as being an enemy of God. There is no gray area here. You're either for Him or against Him. So disbelief is the same as hate in this case.

I'm at a loss to explain.

Edit to Vera: My problem with the statement is that as a Jew, I have a love of G-d, but Jesus does not figure into our religion. Yet, I was told that I'm a
G-d hater because I do not agree with Jesus (in effect).

Edit to Dan: I HAVE read my Tanakh; it says NOTHING about Jesus. Check out some of the other posts about the prophecies - Jesus is YOUR Messiah - G-d bless. He did not fulfull OUR prophecies and is not OUR Moshiach.

According to the NT Jesus said many times," Go convert the Jews first & those that still disbelieve in me will go to hell" Not exactly the correct words but the meanings the same..

Many Christians believe that He won't come back until all Jews are converted.thus these hateful remarks..Just had an email from a loving xtian calling me a Jewish f...ng whore & wishing all my relatives were now lampshades,Grrrrrr Have to decide what to do with that sickening piece of sh..t?

Being Jewish we have only one G-D & you know Jesus is never mentioned in our Torah or any of our Rabbinical writings..

G-D Bless & Shalom

I get sooooooooooo sick of that attitude as well. First I don't see why they care so much about what some stranger thinks/believes. It's condescending, rude and ignorant. The ethnocentrism on here is unbelievable and something I would expect to see out of a four year old not adolescents/adults. What is so wrong with having different beliefs? God made us all different for a reason.

Many people are on this forum simply to validate their belief systems....their faith is meaningless (and in fact I suspect their lives may be meaningless) if they can't find somebody to "agree" with their world-view...you will find many of these individuals claiming to be non-denominational, which is a way of saying they cannot trust any church to believe exactly as they do - they are control freaks with a very immature spirituality and mostly I just feel sorry for them...they will be very lonely people if they don't find a way out of the labyrinth they have constructed for themselves...

EDIT to DG: Apparently, I touched a nerve...and you are still unconvincing...and I suspect you know it well...

2nd EDIT to DG: I'm not in any "mess", I'm just chilling at work and feeling sorry at the desperation of people like you...your obsession with getting others to believe that you hold the "truth" cannot possibly be healthy to your mental state...I'm not really worried though because I know you don't act like this in real life...meanwhile, chew on this:

Anything and everything is possible if you BELIEVE it is. Burning fat is NOT that difficult, trust me, I used to be very obese and I'm now a healthy chap.

There are no short-cuts, you will need to exercise regularly and eat right. Jog on the treadmill for 20 mins daily and then cycle for another 20 mins. After that, pump some iron to boost your metabolism.

I also recommend a herbal supplement such as Acai Berries, which will assist in weight loss. But please understand that they are NOT a replacement for exercise. You can find a review about Acai Berries at http://www.acaiberrymix.com

If there was any truth to any religion. there would only be one religion. A belief is only your own imagination.
I believe in the boogie man. see what I mean.
