Right now i am dealing with a big problem, my mother does not want me to turn off my lights. to fight against global warming, but the worse part is she still cooking., this is really important for me to do this. so how can i get my mother to support me on this, no matter what i am going to turn off everything in my room.
but i need to stop cooking and turn the lights off in her kitchen,don't get me wrong i love my mother, i just have to do the right thing. by turning off my lights. but i would like for her to turn her lights off to. this way we can do this together. please help

Right now where i live it's 8:20 pm.. so i have to say good night to you all.. i really hope i can think of something to say to my mother in time.. i just don't want her to mess things up for me. this is something i can be proud of

turning off your lights can't "fight global warming" because there is no such thing as global warming. It is a theory and not scientific fact. Al Gore is an @ss and is only out for fame and money. We don't have that much power over the environment. Back in the mid 1970s the scientists were totally sure that we were headed for an ice age - "Global Cooling" problem. It was nothing, obviously!
Personally, it is now 7:22pm and I plan on turning more lights on out of protest for the naive people that think this is important!

You poor misguided soul! Don't you turn your lights out at night when you go to bed? That should be enough. This "turn your lights out hour" crap is just that...crap! I kept my lights on as usual and don't feel the least bit guilty about it. For you and others to have the audacity to think that by simply turning off a light bulb is somehow going to save the planet from infinite doom is preposterous! The earth was here millions of years before us and has undergone numerous forms of transformation within that time and it will continue do so after we are all dead and gone. So flick the switch on or off...it won't make the least bit of difference!

Your mother is right and you have been brainwashed into thinking "Man made" global warming is real when the opposite is true. You are one of the many that are like the moth drawn to the flame and will end up being burnt in the end. Go ahead and give your hard earned cash to these scam artists for a fool and his money are soon parted.
