Drink 2 huge glasses of water when you have your snack and make sure your snack is a healthy one so you stay full longer.
Same! I'm 13. You get out at 2:40? I get out at 4:00 :(
I always get sooo hungry at the end of school. I walk home and in the fall I stop at the Starbucks and get a pumpkin spice latte and when I'm home I eat an apple. In the winter I get a peppermint hot chocolate or coffee and when I'm home I have some pretzels or popcorn. In the spring I get a chai latte or some Oolong tea and then go home and have a nectarine or a plum. Sometimes a fruit salad. Whenever I go to the Starbucks I read or do some homework until I'm done with my latte/tea/hot chocolate. They also have some fruit salads and cookies there, so I eat those if I'm starving.
I also found that keeping some granola bars in your locker and then eating them when you go to your locker. My lockers at my school have little drawers and shelves that you can keep food in. It really helps. Also, I know it sounds crazy, but Philosophy lip glosses and other flavored lip glosses really tide you over! Studies show that just smelling food makes you less hungry.
Also, when you get home from school try some popcorn or grapes. It is proven to be very filling (popcorn or grapes)
Hm, we are dismissed from school at 3:13, I have soccer from 2:30 til then, and volleyball or cross country from 3:30 ish to 5:30. Let me tell you, I still get home and am munching around til dinner at 7 ish. Try eating a banana or apple on the bus home, then maybe having toast while working on or after completing homework. The fruit will revitalize you, perk you up. And the toast (bagel, bread, etc) should fill your belly nicely.
