he's 19 and has been with quite a few girls before me, I'm 17 and i havnt done anything with anyone.
We've been together for 7 months and have taken things really slowly but now that hes got his own place for uni etc, things will be progressing.
over the past month hes been getting slightly turned on around me for no reason, when were just sitting talking etc. Yesterday we were laying in his bed kissing and holding each other close and he got an erection... we just carried on kissing etc and didnt do anything about it.
How does it feel for a man to stop at that stage? without "finnishing the deal"?

it doesn't hurt a guy to just get an erection and then do nothing...and blue balls really doesn't exist, it doesn't hurt if you get us close to orgasm and then stop the only thing that happens is we're disappointed....it's just to make women feel bad.
How does it feel for a man to stop at that stage? without "finnishing the deal"? - It's no problem at all, and don't ever let a man convince you otherwise!
Nature is obsessed with reproducing the species; so we males become erect whenever there's the slightest chance of sex. It can even happen in non-sexual situations. Just looking at an attractive girl will arouse a man; or holding hands; kissing DEFINITELY!
There is no need whatever to "do anything about it"; prolonged arousal without ejaculation may cause discomfort in the testicles ("blue balls"); but he can take care of that himself by masturbating if necessary. Most of the time it's not a problem; it just feels nice :-)
It is very difficult for a woman to understand a man if she is trying to read him in this way. Getting an erection does not mean you have to have full sex! This is a part of our bodies which reacts easily to many things and can recover easily Erections happen far too often for there to be a order of activity surrounding them. Don't worry about it.
I wouldn't worry so much. It's the story of a young man's life. Get turned on by just about anything. I'd go as far as to say it's erect more than not, so 'acting on' everything that made us horny is impossible. My advice? Don't be pressured into anything.
