Dosage for Children's Benadryl:
Children under 2 years: do not use
Children 2 to 5 years: do not use unless directed by a doctor
Children 6 to 11 years: 5 to 10 ml (1 to 2 tsp)

I don't have the box anymore. I read the dosage on the bottle and it doesn't say what dosage is recommended for what weight.

EDITED:
This is what I found online:
http://www.delawarepeds.com/files/documents/Benadryl-Dosage-Chart.pdf
The dosage of 10ml was recommended for children weighing 55-83 lbs.

Go by weight, not age. For the average 5 year old, it would be the right dose, but if your child is on the smaller or larger side it would be off.
