So my dad came home the other day and said he got 2 knicks tickets for this friday. The last time he got tickets, he told me to take my friend, so this time when he showed me them i said, "Oh sweet, ill text Joey and see if he s available" Only problem is.....I think my dad wanted to come this time, and I feel really bad. What can I do to get my dad to come? Im lost.
Note: I already asked my friend and he said yes. The game is tomorrow.

Well, I would let your friend Joey know you've decided to have father/daughter time for the game and you will hit him up the next time. Take your dad instead of your friend. You obviously really care about him and vise versa. One day, he will be gone so cherish these kind of opportunities. After all, if he got you tickets before, he will most likely get them for you again!

The ticket is bought from you Dad, so the priority that go to watch the game is him. Below is the solution:
1. Your Dad and you friend watch the game( you can keep your promise to your friend)
2. Bought another ticket( third ticket) from the website for your friend/ you( you/ your friend can watch the knick game as well)
3. Tell you dad to invite his friend to watch the knick game and you and your friend watch the game later( you bought another 2 ticket later)
4. Tell you friend that you cannot bring him to watch the game and you watch the game with your Dad. Tell you friend that there is no vacant ticket this time and watch the game with him next time.
