My room is right next to the living room , on weekends My 6 yr old wants to stay up and watch tv. I make him a bed on the couch tuck him in tell him I love him ..then I go lay down..the problem is I feel guilty for leaving him alone ...is it ok ..or should I stay out there w him??

6 yr old should to be allowed to sit up and watch TV. Bed times and routine are very important for kids.

He should not stay up more than an hour past his usual bedtime. Have a timer set for the TV so he can't watch it too long.
