Has any of you ever been lulled by the purring of a cat next to your pillow at night?

On my pillow, on my head, smashing my boobs, you name it. Any place preventing me from moving. Wouldn't have it any other way!

Oh, he** yes-- best dadgum "sleeping pill" ever! The master of that trick was a sweet Himalayan female I had to put to sleep last year (lymphosarcoma). She would purr and make kitty biscuits on my shoulder until I fell asleep. Oddly, she'd wake me up in the morning the same way.

yep all the time, our cats sleep between me and my husband and we both fall asleep to purring kitties

  • I have an old siamese that sleeps on my shoulder and she is such a little sweetie. She will even get up and have breakfast ,on days that hubby gets up and I sleep in,then come back to bed and cuddle up.

No, but my darling husband sure does.

His cat Loki is his snugglebunny AKA the spawn of Satan. She (we thought she was a he when very small- even the vet was wrong- hence the name) keeps me awake, walks on me, attacks moving body parts, you name it while I am trying to sleep.

If he didn't love her so much...

No, I don't have a cat. I do have a dog though, and she snores. So I can't fall asleep lying next to her.
