Could "Jesus" be a Woman?

"There is neither male nor female in Christ Jesus...", Scriptures say. So, perhaps "Jesus Christ" merely defines a title. Could "Jesus Christ", incarnate, be a woman? If she were, could you accept that (easily)?

In human form, Jesus was a man. In spirit form, he is neither. Hence the quote "There is neither male nor female in Christ Jesus..." . I think that God presented [him]self as male in the early days, and gave us Jesus in the form of a man because people back then wouldn't have been able to wrap their heads around, nor accept him being anything but a man (remember, God is really neither male nor female). Apparently, most people still can't do that.

You can't say Jesus was a good person because He claimed to be the Son of God. If He isn't the Son of God then He is a liar and not a good person.

He had to be a male bec that fulfilled the prophecy that He would be the "Last Adam" . Nobody except advanced theologians and clued in believers even understand what that means anymore. It was common knowledge about 50 years ago.

Jesus, when He walked the earth, was a man. John 3:16 states that God gave His only begotten Son. The scripture concerning neither male nor female refers to the fact that God doesn't differentiate between men or women, we are all free to come to Him and when we receive our glorified bodies after judgment, the bodies won't be male nor female.

No. Jesus was made to be resembling man so he had to have been male or female. There is more evidence in the bible stating this because all HIS disciples were men and he is referred to as the SON of man.

I don;t think she was a woman since the scriptures plainly call Jesus the SON of God.

That being said, if he were a woman I would still accept him as savior.

The bible does say that our Lord Jesus Christ is a male.

No, because God made Adam first and then Eve. Jesus was a man, and His twelve disciples were men. Mary Magedelene was very special to Jesus, but she was not one of the twelve. God made man in His own image, and He is a man, for that reason.

I wouldn't care. Jesus can be anything people want him to be, there is no right or wrong.

But I do believe that it is ridiculous that everyone is all into the Bible thing. "It says so in the Bible!!" That is what's wrong with society. No one thinks for themselves, their lives revolve a book that is probably filled with LIES and/or EXAGGERATIONS.

perhaps, could you consider that same Holy Spirit that decended to Christ has reappeared again as "A Thief in the Night", and "Ye shall know him by His fruits" at www.bahai.org

I don't know that scripture! But the bible tells us plainly that Jesus was and is a MALE!
