Like most children, he's trying to do what he sees Mama/Daddy do. But, being a cat, he doesn't really know the difference between smoking it and eating it. I don't think it has anything to do with his diet. This could be a dangerous thing for him to do though. You might want to call your vet's office and ask how much danger there is in ingesting tobacco.

Well, he could just like playing with them, or maybe he has chewed on enough of them that he is addicted to nicotine. Get him some cat toys and maybe some catnip toys or cat grass, something he can chew on and play with besides your cigarettes.

They are probably just playthings for him. Cats like to fish little things out of small spaces. Get some golf whiffle balls--they are practice golf balls made of plastic with lots of holes in them. Cats love to play with those.

niether of my cats have done this :)) cats have there own fun and silly stuff,my female loves eating plastic, especially if it has some selotape on it and my male cat steals photographs, like yours with the cigs out of albums ect and runs off and hides them.

They both love ping pong balls ,corks from wine bottles, make sure it has lots of sily stuff to play with, even ribbon from gifts tied to chairs and door handles is amusing to them.

you do not "prepare" a cat! You enable the cat "study"! there's a distinction!! sit down on the floor (her factor) and ignore about her. in case you play video games, examine a e book or newspaper, attempt to do homework, etc, particularly quickly the cat turns into "curious" of what you're doing, and are available to ensure! at the same time as that occurs, only SOFTLY search for suggestion from consisting of her....do no longer attempt to the contact or grab her. which will only make her run away extra. you've in undemanding words had her for a short time (2 wks isn't lengthy for a cat), so she's nevertheless attempting to regulate to her new "kin" and "ecosystem". one element that i need to do is....get a fly swatter, or fluffy toy, and "sleek" it from aspect to aspect, on the floor. Cats oftentimes can not stand to show screen that for lengthy, with out "starting to be a member of in". they're going to chase it to and fro, til you're drained of the game. Then, enable the cat HAVE the toy to play with. only be affected human being! i know it really is confusing......have had to do it myself.......although the longer you're affected human being, the faster she'll "come round". It nevertheless ought to take some extra weeks. in case you want to positioned some "treats" on your lap, she ought to smell them and need to "inspect", too. nevertheless...do not grab! at the same time as your new cat is waiting, SHE'LL be the only to make the first move. desire it doesn't take too lengthy.........reliable success.

He could also be hooked on nicotine! I wonder where you could stick one of those patches on him, if it is the case?
