Join the armed forces and go overseas to die, or US border patrol, and die in your own country?

I am not sure what you are asking or even stating. Are you making an attempt at a joke or comparing the US Border Patrol versus US Military death rate?

I have yet to hear of a person dying while on border patrol, if they do the rate of death is at an all time low, in this profession. I am pretty sure that there are some that lose their life in the line of duty. This is the career they have selected being in law enforcement.

All individuals that join the military don't go overseas and certainly they don't die. We have many many military that go overseas and return to the United States unharmed, even some that are in a combat zone. I was one that was in a combat zone that returned to the United States unharmed.

If Mexico raised it really is military up and attacked the U. S. the border patrol would both be lifeless, or operating away. nationwide safeguard is there to stay away from that, Border patrol is only the actual embodiment of our Immigration guidelines. So no.

well you can walk down the street and be shot by the drug dealers or killed by a junkie looking for drug money. Why would anyone die on the border patrol? Are those Mexicans armed with rocket propelled grenades? Don't think so.

I wouldnt use that to try to recruit people man. Sorta kills the "look at us were so cool" message the army usually tries to send to kids.
