What to do with those graduation robes?
I graduated from high school this wednesday, and I can't help but wonder what people do with their robes...you can't exactly put it in a shadowbox with your cap! Maybe I could use it as a Hogwarts student costume?lol

I gave all mine way and people were grateful. Even now I have to find money to buy back one because I need it to attend a graduation function.
But this is what you can do:
For example, find someone in need and say something like this to to them,
"One day you will graduate and this robe is a symbol to remind you of my confidence in you. You will even do better then me in school."
To some its college or university. Try it!!!!

You should throw a party - like a toga party and invite everyone over. Rules are they have to wear the robe and nothing underneath or something exotic only.
Could be interesting!

I stored mine in a "drama" box that I use in my classroom. I don't teach drama, but both my high school and my college robes came in super handy when we videotaped a play. If you don't want to keep yours, I'd suggest donating it to an elementary school teacher or a drama teacher.

Mine's still hanging in my closet (I graduated a year ago). It was sitting on the floor for awhile soon afterward, but then it occurred to me that maybe it's somewhat more important than that, so I hung it up. I dunno, maybe I'll bring it along when I move to my first house and hang it up somewhere where my future kids can look at it, so that I can say "look, someday you'll have one of these too."

I don't know what you're SUPPOSED to do with them. My high school and college robes are both bagged and then boxed in my mom's shed.
