Try WASHING your hands WITH SOAP AND WATER after cutting peppers next time....
I would suggest that if your hands still burn after 15 HOURS that you get to the hospital...

Use Milk or yogurt. Stay away from oils - they tend to trap the burn onto the skin and make it much much worse! NO canola oil nothing with oil. You can follow up the milk with aloe Vera.

Use gloves next time, and try some milk to soak them in. Oh, don't rub your eyes either!

Rub some baking soda. Wash your hands first. If it still persists, apply a burn ointment. Or not Petroleum jelly

Try either rinsing them in lemon juice or rubbing them on stainless steel (like a spoon or the sink).

put your hands in milk. it sounds stupid but you need a base to stop the burning of the acid. its worked for me in the past make sure its cold.

Get some oatmeal quickly and scrub them thoroughly with that. Just oatmeal and water.
I think there is a drug store something named Aveeno, but not sure.

lemon/lime juice or vinegar..something base to counteract the acids in the japs.. Actually, soaking in a bowl of milk might help, too!
