To be a fool in love

Or as blind as a glove,

To be a sage in rage

It all matters less with age.

Fools rush in, and Sages debate until the opportunity has expired, raging on about this or that; I think it is better to be a sage in love. They say ignorance is bliss, and the fool in love is not ignorant to love anymore....On his way to Sagehood. Traveling the path to Enlightenment.

The Fool in Tarot (numbered 0) is usually depicted walking over the ledge of a steep cliff- smiling. So Ignorance cannot be bliss, bliss must be attained through knowledge of the world.

Sage in a Rage seems to speak of The Hermit, numbered Nine, isolated from the outside world and seeking out understanding, but will have none, till he again steps out into the world; to be met with number 10, Fortune. And on and on, until the same Fool we started with has met with number 21- The Universe. The realization that we are all one. That Fool is every one of us. Figure out where you are and act accordingly.
