    Get a goose.

Have yourself a session of "Dueling Poultry"

    I hope things don't run a-fowl.

I speak for the rights of water fowl everywhere.. leave the duck be.

Ducks are not meant to be shut away.

If this is actually a noise issue, there are probably already laws concerning volumn etc in your locale. Check with the police about what constitutes too loud.

Insulate your walls to dampen the sound penetration.

    Buy him a hearing aid?

Without knowing what the actual problem is, I have suggested as many possible solutions as I could think of.

Did you mean his duck up or did you spell f--k up wrong so that yahoo's Q+A Gestapo doesn't come out of the wood work and bite you like they do me all the time??

I'm an RA in my dorm, and I always encourage people to take the first step, and politely remind the noisey neighbor that it is courteous to mind their volume, but that you understand that they have the right and need to express themselves openly.

If that doesn't work, then you call security, or in your case, police.

    Good luck!

the surest way to shut the duck up, is with duck tape.

Write an anonymous letter & see if the noise subsides. If that doesn't work call the Po Po's.

Ain't much you can do unless he's breaking the law in some way.
