Why is it that I get a long answer typed?
only to have Yahoo ask me for my password ( again) when i get to preview.
The screen comes back telling me to preview my answer, but there is no link back to the question!, and then i have lost the entire work. I spend a lot of time thinking though answers. This is really irritating!

yeah, I don't know, stuff like that's happened to me too. So I just do Ctrl+A and then Ctrl+C so I can paste it again.

Yep, that happens. The other night every time I clicked onto Preview it took me to Yahoo Search and I lost my answer. After that I started copying long thought out answers just in case I lost them.

If I do long answers I do a select all and copy then a paste if I have lost it. It sends the text to your clipboard, this allows it to be pasted in to any document.(Ctrl+A is select all, Ctrl+C is copy, Ctrl+V is paste)
It has to do with your cookies not saving your identity. A setting within your browser options will change this. Also sometimes privacy programs will also not store cookies properly.

Just push preview - and it will go to your answer. Then click SUBMIT. If you are afraid of losing the answer - type it into a "Notebook" file first. Then highlight it - and copy - then in the answer areas paste it in and then click preview - and Submit, then if you lose it - you can do it again.

When that happens, just go back copy your answer, and then click preview

That has happened to me once or twice and it really pi$$ed me off each time, I feel your pain. It never seems to happen when my answer is very short, Murphy's Law I guess.

Could your answer have been too long. You wigged out the program cause it couldn't take it.
