Which comic characters later became animated figures?

Or, vice versa.

Have there been any animation figures that later appeared in comics.

If so, which do you prefer, and why?

I think you probably know about spiderman, xmen, and other comics that became animated television characters. the opposite, animated characters that later appeared in comics, is less common. my favorite comic book based off of an animated tv show is The Simpsons. FUNNY!

I like a lot of animated characters, and I also like a lot of characters that have never (yet) been animated. If you are interested in learning about any specific ones, try the Toonopedia site. It gives a history of over a thousand toons and tells which medium they began in and which other ones they appeared in over the years. Enjoy!

well, at 8pm on Saturdays, turn the TV to Cartoon Network and you'll be amazed how horrible the Fantastic Four look in animation.
