lol OK a surprise would be a tattoo .. a piercing you can always take out..so if you in a midlife crises do the piercing but if you really love the idea of a tattoo and wont freak out that it will never come off... go for it!!!

Oh please dont get a piercing. It looks ridiculous on a man of your age. I like the other guys idea of an earring a nice diamond stud. But a tat wouldnt be bad. I will say it will surprise them.

Tattoo no contest. Nothing is more surprising than permanent body art.

I am sure they don't want this kinda surprised.

    What's the matter with you?

Are you going through a mid-life crisis!

Don't get either. Take your family on a weekend away. This will be appreciated more than any dodgy tatoo or piercing.

I don't know, some people, eh!

This sounds like a text book case of "mid-life crisis". If you want to feel revitalized try doing some different kind of activity with your family.

Tattoo. But somewhere easily hidden... and ask your family about it.
