Does anyone know where I can find a good research article that talks about the Nurses role in elderly care?

Please be accessible by the web.

Update:

A good website that talks about the nurses role in caring for the elderly would be good in addition to the question. Thanks

I know this isn't on the web but have you thought about talking to nurses themselves in nursing homes or assisted living homes? They are probably the best source you can get. From experience, a nurses role is very important. If it wasn't for them, who would hand out meds, take their vitals, report to doctors, perform any other lifesaving duties. I know in nursing homes, nurses couldn't do their job very well without CNAs(certified nursing assistants). If it wasn't for them, the elderly wouldn't get bathed, get help with getting in and out of bed, putting on clothes, and on and on. Hope this was some help.
