I have a Samsung LED TV. I plugged in my HDMI cord to the tv from my computer. I didn't force a refresh rate or anything, The artifacting was bad. Now, my tv blips. It will have a normal pictures but every 30 seconds or go there is a slight blip on the screen. Is my TV ruined now? Can it be fixed?

I have an onboard ethernet jack on a motherboard that supports gigabit speeds, through a cat5e cable, that goes to a WNDR4500 router, that goes through a cat5e to a WD Live TV. Yet, the best I can get is 100megabit speeds (10-13 megabytes). My computer is blazingly fast so that shouldn't be the bottleneck. What am I missing here? The motherboard is set for 1gigabit.

My mother built an add on apartment for my sister. This apartment has networking jacks that run from the main router to her add on apartment. The wifi router is in the front of the house and the backyard doesn't get a wireless signal. Is it possible to link through a networking cable my mothers wireless router to another wireless access point so that there are two wireless access point? I tried plugging in my old WRT54g in my sisters apartment and for a while we had two access points, but then it kicked the old router off, and it became inaccessible. What products should I buy? What is the process called?

I have Windows 7 on my desktop and a portable hard drive connected. I enabled sharing on both of them. On my laptop I have vista. They are both networked on my local Linksys router. When I go on my laptop through the network it shows my desktop computer but it requires me to give a login and password. I did not pw protect the vista computer. What is going on?
