Yes, you do have a problem here, and I sympathise with you and how you must be feeling. But ...... thinking about Ozzy, if he's settled with the lady who is fostering him, and has been for 3 months now, I think I'd have to opt to let him stay there, PROVIDED she's absolutely serious about keeping him. And you need to speak with her, see how he is with her, to satisfy your mind that this is for real. Your life is a bit up and down just now isn't it, and I know how hard it is, first hand, if you have to rent (?) with a dog!! And even if you find a place now, there's no telling whether, if you move, you won't have difficulties later on. And I've also found the bigger the dog, the more difficult it can be. There's no reason, provided again it doesn't upset him to see you come and go, why you can't keep in touch with Ozzy throughout his life after all. Getting him settled is by far the best thing to be focused on. I wish you luck in your decision! And of course, Ozzy too. Add For those who don't realise it, it is EXTREMELY hard to find rental properties that will accept dogs in England, and the SW of England especially. If you are after a kennel job, you may find somewhere with live-in accommodation that will allow you to have him out of a cage, on the property however, in the event this foster home isn't as good as you think?

It sounds like you can't part with him. You've been over and done with a whole bunch of obstacles. Who knows that foster mum may get rid of him within a few months. Try a little longer to keep him. Try it with your friend but look for your own place as soon as possible. This reminds me of my cousin but he had a cat. She had got bounced from house to house before he had got him. She had almost got put to sleep until my cousin rescued her. Than he wasn't allowed to have her in his apartment. He ended trying several things it took almost a year and than he found his permanent home. They are in-separate. You tried to get this far. A few more things won;t hurt. You've fell in love with Oozy and it sounds like he must love you to. You and Oozy will be fine and by this time next year. You'll have your own place for sure and Oozy will jump right up on the couch with you!

In my country I think the ppl are more reserved to have a male maid. Esp if the women/ ladies are alone or single. They will tend to think of their safety (no offense) and also they may think that a man may not be as detailed as a lady cleaner.

I wouldn't care if it was a man or woman as long as the work was done properly.

Who wouldn't want a man doing the housework? We'll be fighting over you here on answers!

  • I wouldn't care what gender as long as they preformed the job to my satifaction. All depends on the preformance and not the gender, at least to me.
