What states do not extradite to Pennsylvania over non-payment of summary offenses/not showing up for court?
Someone I know was fined for not cutting grass, running a junkyard, and four non-moving traffic violations. He is currently about to go to court over a bad check. (Check value about $175.) Does anyone know what states he could live in that wouldn't send him back to PA to go to court and jail? It may seem like a stupid thing to be running away from, but he's poor and he has a lot of food allergies that they are not willing to accomodate in jail, and last time he was there he went into anapalectic shock and almost died.

It's really heard to name a state. They all extradite. Some for more things than others. And the state may not extradite today but can change to will extradite tomorrow.

Good grief! The courts are normally MORE than willing to work with people who have difficulty in paying fines etc. Telephone the Clerk of the Courts office within that jurisdiction and find out what it would take to pay off the fines and court costs in order to avoid imprisonment! Run away....most states have "reciprosity" meaning that he won't be able to get a drivers license along with a few other issues. Eventually, he'll get caught getting in to further difficulty.

i do not favor to offend you (or any Pennsylvanians), yet i'm not all that inspired. i have lived in a complete of 11 states and this is the only i love the least so some distance. real, there are some fairly parts, yet accepted it merely would not do a lot for me. i might want to favor to bypass interior of a year or so. Edit - i might want to favor to characteristic that Philly is one in each of my fashionable cities. The Philadelphia Museum of paintings ranks extreme on my record of museums i have been to, and it consistently leaves me with a sturdy experience of concept (considering I fake to be an artist each so often). I also love Chinatown and between the perfect chinese language eating places i have ever been to is in Philly. rattling... now i'm yearning Dim Sum! =D

moving out of state for $175, you've got to be kidding. certainly moving would cost a bit more than that ! go to court plead your case for lack of funds, they will ususally give plenty of time, up to a year to pay funds- best to avoid jail, warrant will catch him sooner or later

It isn't a question of what states will send him back to PA, it's a question of where PA will go to get him. That will depend on the severity of the charges, amount of fines, etc. It will NEVER go away, so he needs to get it taken care of.
