  • Small Kenmore Washer 44722 Will Not Drain or Spin?

I have one of those small washing machines designed for apartments, it's Kenmore model 44722 to be specific. About a week ago it stopped draining water. I cannot get it to spin or drain at all, it just fills with water, then the light blinks. What is wrong, and how can I fix it?

  • Remove Roxio CD creator?

I'm trying to remove the remains of Roxio CD creator in windows XP, I've found a few related processes in the task manager even though it was already un-installed. It's not listed in the add/remove programs screen. I don't want them running on my computer, never installed them, etc. I need to know how to fix this?

  • Selling old records? Where? How?

We are looking to sell hundreds of older records in various conditions, but they aren't selling too hot on ebay. I need suggestions for other ways to get rid of them that will bring in a reasonable cash flow. Is Amazon.com worth investigating? Do they even sell records? Do records sell well at yard sales? In the classifieds? Where are the good places to sell them?

  • Name of scary movie with arms coming out of the laundrymat dryer?

My wife was looking through the $5 bin at Wally-world (Walmart) and saw this scary movie she really wanted to see, she said it had a picture on the back cover that had arms coming out of a dryer at a laundrymat. Does anyone know the name of this movie. She promptly forgot its name and we are looking to rent/buy it.

  • music suggestions for conservative mother-in-law?

I'm trying to introduce my mother-in law to some new music that she'd like, but she's super-conservative and only likes country christian for now. She certainly doesn't like rap, hip hop, swearing, or music about romance. I need suggestions for some new music she might like. She was growing up in the 40's and 50's, but she said she doesn't like that era's music anymore.

She likes Jars of Clay and the contemporary christian (not hymn) music, but I'm looking to introduce her to something differant and preferably more tolerable to me, as neither myself nor my wife are christian.

    Suggestions?

  • How do I change the default printer on my computer?

I need to change the default printer on my (windows xp home) computer from the nonexistant fax machine to the printer that's actually physically there. I don't have admin privilages on this computer, but all the other accounts have the default printer as, well, the printer, so I know each account has it's own settings, and I don't think this will cause a problem.

The reason why I need to change the printer is because I'm printing online coupons from couponsurfer, and it doesn't give me a chance to select the printer I want to print with, it just goes automatically to the default printer. If there's another way to solve this problem, I'm willing to accept a workaround.

Ask if you need more details!

  • For people who really support president Bush--WHY???

No, this is not a rhetorical question! What do you like about the US president? His amazing vocabulary? His vast knowledge of the nature of the world? His ability to respond in a crisis? I mean, come on, what's not to love?

  • What states do not extradite to Pennsylvania over non-payment of summary offenses/not showing up for court?

Someone I know was fined for not cutting grass, running a junkyard, and four non-moving traffic violations. He is currently about to go to court over a bad check. (Check value about $175.) Does anyone know what states he could live in that wouldn't send him back to PA to go to court and jail? It may seem like a stupid thing to be running away from, but he's poor and he has a lot of food allergies that they are not willing to accomodate in jail, and last time he was there he went into anapalectic shock and almost died.

  • Chronic nausea, dizziness, headaches, fatigue, anxiety. What is the cause?

doctors cannot identify the source of my "mysterious illness" and it is getting worse. I have had unexplainable stomach problems for 8 years now. My symptoms get worse if I eat fatty foods, and the nausea is especially intense if I drink very cold water (but not intense with other cold beverages.) What could this be? Can anyone offer me suggestions to talk to my doctor about? I'm not asking for amature medical advice, just things to look into. All of these symptoms began after I was kidnapped and fed very poor quality food for three years. Could a poor diet have lingering effects for five years after my diet became more ballanced?

  • Migraine treatment suggestions?

I have a rather difficult time finding medications to treat my migraines. Unfortunately, I also have bipolar and this means I cannot take medications such as Relpax, Immitrex, and Maxalt, as they interfere with the seratonin level in my brain and cause mania. Same goes for anti-depressants. Unfortunately, I also have low blood pressure, so it can't be anything that will lower my blood pressure. I've been taking Fiorocet as an abortive (works sometimes,) and I was recently discontinued from Topamax due to psychological side effects. I'd ideally like a medication that can be used to treat both bipolar and migraines as I believe mine are related. I cannot take Lamictal or any other medication that lists memory loss (or something similar) as a side effect. I am very susceptable to that. Please offfer suggestions that I can talk with my psychiatrist and neurologist about, so that I have some idea what is available. I need a daily preventative AND an abortive. THANK YOU!!!

  • Can Topamax (for migraines) cause suicide or severely altered moods for someone with bipolar 1?

I had some rather bizzarre effects from taking Topamax at 50mg twice a day for migraines. I also have bipolar 1, but I was going through a very difficult period of time and I wonder if this was the cause or if it was the medication? Can Topamax cause the suicide reaction as anti-depressants can?

  • Fermented pear drink?

I am looking to buy or produce a drink made from fermented pears. Any suggestions as to what is available that is alcoholic and made from aged pears, (not just flavored like pears.) Also accepting instructions of how to ferment pear juice to produce something like pear wine. I'm not a fan of beer, but I like Boones Farm beverages and wine coolers.

  • How can a computer monitor be used as a TV?

I have a rather large (not flat screen) computer monitor that came with my Dell desktop. I am looking to use that as a TV, or perhaps to use my TV as a computer monitor. Either way, the problem is that I do not have the room in my RV to have both the TV and the monitor, and I am looking to reduce the space being taken up by my computer. Suggestions? I'm also looking for advice on how to set up my computer to use the least ammount of space possible. Wireless keyboard & mouse will allow me to store the tower out of sight, but I need to get dual use out of the monitor/TV.

  • Gay Marriage Hurts You?

I'd like to know specifically how gay marriage has hurt you personally, or how you would anticipate it hurting you. You can present evidence on someone else's behalf (ie, how it hurt someone you know.) I'm trying to understand why people are so opposed to gay marriage, so please be specific about this (for instance, if you wanna talk about "gay agenda," you'd better be real specific about REAL people who were REALLY hurt by the "gay agenda," not just catch phrases.) Let's think for ourselves, shall we.

  • At what point does thinking about killing the president become illegal in America?

At what point do you personally think it becomes illegal. I already know the answers to the question, I am more interested to know what people *think* the answer is than the true answer. Which of the following do you think are illegal acts:

    1. Wishing the president were dead

    2. Contemplating killing the president, but not making any plans.

    3. Talking to others about how you wish the president were dead

    4. Talking about people who want to kill the president, without ever saying you are one of those people.

    5. Trying to convince others to BELIEVE in the concept of killing the president, without trying to convince them to actually do it.

    6. Trying to convince others to kill the president.

    7. Planning to kill the president, but never following through on it because he never comes to your state.

    8. Pointing a gun at the president from a secret location, but never shooting

    9. Making a voodoo doll and killing the doll, or other kinds of magic to kill the president.
