I'd like to change my career any suggestions?

Question

Right now I'm getting extremely bored and depressed with my job to the point of really just not ever going back there again. I work in the IT business, and the pay is reasonable but its no longer a challenge, just the same stuff day in and day out (the very definition of ennui). I am very good with my hands, intelligent, and I like to be creative whether it's a DIY project, rebuilding an engine or designing and building something electronic. Any suggestions for a suitable career path (or even a job offer!) as I'm out of ideas. Thanks...

I say you become a air plane pilot travel all over the world or a flight attendant afly all over the world and meet interesting people!
Or u could become a teacher for little kids because they are crazy.

Yes that's right, you to can be an HVAC technician like me. People will seek out your knowledge and advice all hours of the day.
Sleep? You can sleep when your dead!
You to can restore heat in the winter to your favorite restaurant while at the same time freezing parts of your body you never knew could freeze. Roof top units are fun!!!
But wait there's MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the hottest of days in the summer you can repair a roof top A/C systems while enjoying the black tar roofs, pigeon poop, and blistering mind distorting heat.
All this could be yours in the world of HVAC-but wait, there's MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Every day will be a different job just a little worse the the last.
Every day you will meet new people who won't pay you for the work you have done for them.
Every day a little more hope will be destroyed in you as your boss pleads poverty.
