Is this Violation Notice (copy included below) worthy of my further attention?

I've received another Violation Notice from the Y!A Team, and I'd be grateful if folks would take a moment to read through this then tell me if you think I am in breach of Community Guidelines for "Chatting and Personal Communications" and if not what, if anything, I should do. Thanks.

Please feel free to re-report me for duplicating an allegedly violating Answer.

Question: if i send a email with a address error?

Question Details: If you're in the UK it goes to GCHQ (Government Communications HeadQuarters) in Cheltenham where they're often denied trade union rights, and to the United States spy station in North East England called ECHELON - which does the same thing as GCHQ except Christmas cards all too often get intercepted too. If you're in the US, it goes to one of the many CIA (Central Intelligence Agency - who hates the FBI's motto of Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity 'cos it not only spells out FBI but the CIA have little integrity) listening stations dotted throughout the North American continent. then they come and get you for microwaving the cat for too long.

Thanks again.

I agree with the above about microwaving the cat especially as you have given no thought to a recipe or cooking guidelines which is very irresponsible.

I would suggest you post a link to Gordon Ramseys Furball Frtitters or Delia Smiths Siamese Sausages next time.

Or is it some people just don't have a sense of humour?

(violation notice on the way to me now.lol)

No your not in violation, but hey on the bright side i've got two violations forone question and the reason for the violation is not specified beyond Community Guidlines Violation. I'm not real sure how they decide who's in violation. I have recieved warnings in the past that don't even coincide with the type of warning. The only way I can make sense of your warning and soem that I have recieved is that a word or words in a question match a violation only by the word itself for instnace, you are in violation of "Chatting and Personal Communications" and communications is mentioned in your question. So you must be in violation. Hahaha. Ignore them.

One or a few of those words in your question has matched with Yahoo's guidelines in Chatting & Personal communications.

Some saddo on here reports you. The question runs through their automation system. It only looks for certain words (who knows what those words are) and it then sends you a violation email.

Yahoo never respond but they take points off you anyway.

I really can't see how your question warrants a violation email.

The last line "Micro-waving the Cat" did it. Some one without the ability to understand the use of such terminology to make a point was insulted at the idea and took it literally. Forget about it. Idiots are all over this site.

I wouldn't get too excited about it.

The Yahoo censorship machine only looks for key words - there is no logic in it once someone has reported you.

For instance, I was replying to a question in Arts and Humanities about nursery rhymes and I wanted to cite the rhyme "Who Killed **** Robin". Yahoo doesn't like the word "****" whatever context its in. (See its replaced it with stars again).

Forget it - move on ! Life's too short.

That's pitiful on their part, don't even bother trying to get a hold of them, they don't respond. What I don't understand is how can they give a person a violation notice, when they don't even bother to investigate it first? They e-mail you, informing you of a violation and at the bottom of the page, they basically tell you to contact them, if you feel your violation wasn't justified and when you do contact them, they don't respond, why bother ?

No offence, but the question is badly worded and kind of boring, but it does not seem on its face to violate any community standards.

No violation notice is worthy of anyone's attention. They're all rubbish.

I was really upset when I got my first one, now I'm totally used to it and don't even read them.

I think you gave a very fine answer indeed, so someone got bent out of shape for no real reason.

    Breach, no way

Fight, you must (Great. Now I'm sounding like Yoda.)
