One 8-oz glass per day is enough. The benefits of red wine come from the grape skins left in the wine. These have the same acid that is found in aspirin, so it makes your blood cells slippery. This keeps them from forming clots.

That is just a con or hoax to make it OK to give little kids wine to drink. The alcohol has no reverstrol. It is in the red grapes or grape juice. The more grapes, the better.

But the rest of your diet is more important to heart health. If you eat lots of bacon, that is worse than not eating any grapes. Site below tells the many different benefits of fruits and vegetables like help for sleeping, preventing strokes, antiarthritis, antidandruff, antiasthmatic, antiallergenic etc.

  • I heard that one glass of wine a day is good for your heart for whatever reason. But I don't drink at all and I also heard that having some chocolate everyday is just as good so personally I would prefer the chocolate.

1 4 oz. glass. And that's it. Any more is detrimental to your heart.
