a bruised rib or lung or both can be very painful, no amount of pain killers will take it away. It may be a good idea to suggest a rib wrap, that holds the rib cage in so when she moves, or breathes or coughs, or sneezes it doesnt hurt as bad, only time, like three or four months will heal those most painful injuries.

give her a break, it could be you next and the last thing a person wants is some irritable, hostile person not having any compassion when in severe pain. So, come on, give her a break, get a heating pad for her, a wide elastic wrap, and some kindness. It really freakin hurts...

  • cut her a little slack! She's older than you. Her body doesn't take these falls as well as when she was younger and the body takes more time to heal than yours does because of her age. And sometimes when she moans, it might mean she is miserable!

Try to have a sweeter spirit about it. Try to be a little more understanding. I do understand where you are coming from, but trust me, it won't get any better for you if you just keep letting these things iritate you.

Take them in stride. Relax a little. Tell her if in ______ amount of time she does not feel any better at all, then you will immediately call to get her into another doctor. If she is out of pain medication, just tell her to call her doctor and see if he will give her a refill or prescribe her something else to help relieve what pain she does feel.

Remember, you are going to get old some day too. So pave the way for yourself as you go......

Let her bellow and groan and you just pat her on the should as you stagger into the kitchen for another cool one. hope that solves it for you mate. now help me a little with the od q&a abd let me have 10, ah? cause you deserve a nice star from me, okay?

Be patient and kind. What goes around, comes around.

Also, as a person gets older, it takes longer to heal. Maybe a second opinon isn't a bad idea. What is she were you're mother?

that's mean! it sounds like she is really in pain so you shouldn't gripe about her moaning about it. take her to see another doctor if that's what she feels is necessary. it may not do anything, but if it makes her feel better, then it's worth it.

    Gag her.

    Buy earplugs.

    Play REALLY LOUD music.

    She'll get the hint.
